Cleaning Up the Pieces

Garden Shed Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Were you here for last week's 5 Cards in 5 Minutes Challenge?  It actually took me 6 minutes to make those 5 Window Cards.  Let's clean up the pieces and make 5 more cards.  I think these cards were even quicker to make.  Here's last week's video for those of you that missed it.

I cleaned up the punched circle pieces and did all my stamping on those little circles for today's cards.  Talk about Simple Stamping!

Garden Shed Stampin' Up!

I used the same Garden Shed stamp set and Garden Lane designer paper that I used on last week's cards to complete this week's cards.  I simply cut a Mint Macaron card base and layered on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of lovely Garden Lane Designer Paper before popping on my stamped circles with dimensionals.  That's it!  What do you think?  Is this a 4-Minute Card Making Challenge?

2 Garden Shed Card Ideas

Garden Shed Stampin' Up!Hello Friends,

It's peek gardening season here in Ohio, so I thought that it might be fun to highlight the Garden Shed stamp set by Stampin' Up! with 2 cards the same, but different.  This is a gardener's dream stamp set.  If you missed it, I also made a Garden Journal in a post last week also featuring the Garden Shed stamp set.

Garden Shed Card Making Ideas

For both cards, I started by stamping garden pots images from the Garden Shed stamp set.  Then, I colored both with my Stampin' Blends and cut a frame with my Stitched Shapes Dies.  My sentiments were cut with the same dies and Rococo Rose Card Stock.

I cut a window frame for each card using my Stitched Rectangle dies and Mossy Meadow Card Stock.  The plant-based designed paper in from the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper stack.

My flower was pieced together in less than a minute using the Pressed Petals Washi Tape.

I embossed my Crumb Cake card base with my Pinewood Planks embossing folder, then splattered it with Merry Merlot ink.

Cows, Milk Cans & Pressed Petals

Over the Moon Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I cut and packaged my paper shares yesterday.  What a beautiful collection of designer papers in this year's Stampin' Up! Catalog!  But the paper that I was really crushin' on was the Pressed Petal Speciality Designer Paper.  Then patterns and colors are stunning.  And...as the name implies the Pressed Petal DSP is a specialty paper.   It has 24 sheets of gorgeous paper in one package.  It's thinner than regular designer paper which suites its style. For my first go around with the Pressed Petals Designer Paper, I paired it with the Over the Moon and the Country Home stamp sets to make 3 Utterly Country Cards & Tags.

Over the Moon Stampin' Up!

When I first saw the adorable cows in the Over the Moon stamp set, I knew that I would eventually pair it with the milk can from the Country Home stamp set.  How perfect is that!  Plus, both the cows and the milk can are quick and easy to color.  I tried a few new Stampin' Blends color to color my can.  The milk can itself was colored with my Gray Granite Blends, plus a little bit of Cajun Craze for rust.  The label was colored with the new So Saffron Blends.  I love these soft yellow blends!
