So Hoppy Together Card & Sampler

If we are open to it, the smallest things can jump start the creative process for a hand stamped card, Scrapbook layout or even Home Decor. Today's projects started with a scrap from a project from this weekends Open House. I cut out small stitched rectangles for a card we are making. That's when I noticed the interesting remnant that was destined to become first a Card and then a Sampler.
Here's the piece that started it all. I cut 3 Rectangles from a scrap of Coastal Cabana Card Stock with my Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies and this is what was left over.
For some reason I simply couldn't stop at a card today. After the card, I went on to make this Sampler. A Sampler is basically a 3-D Scrapbook Layout. Plus, it fun to every now and then go beyond card making and use Craft Room Supplies to make beautiful and a memorable Home Decor piece.

I also used the Be Mine Framelits Dies from the Occasions Catalog for both my Card and my Sampler. I branched out with other products to complete my Sampler. Scroll down to the bottom of this post for a complete list of supplies used on today's projects. Because I went with a Black and White Color Theme with just a pop of color, my only ink was Tuxedo Black Momento ink. My pop of color is Lemon Lime Twist and Coastal Cabana which I added with die cuts.
