Hello Cupcake Sneak Peek

Hello Cupcake Stampin' Up!
Hello Cupcake Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

On Friday, I showed you how to use the new Hello Cupcake stamp set as a poo emoji.  Today, I'll show you how to use the same stamp set for this sweet Birthday Card and Mini Gable Box.  Can you believe that the Hello Cupcake stamp set can be yours free (with qualifying purchase)  during Sale-a-bration (January 3, 2019 through March 31, 2019) ?  If you love stamping, you'll stamping these cute and simple projects.

Hello Cupcake Stampin' Up!

I stamped my cupcake with a combination of Powder Pink, So Saffron, Melon Mambo and Blueberry Bushel Inks.  I then cut my circles with the Layering Circles die.  I sponged a bit of Soft Sea foam ink on my card base and added a piece of Garden Impression designer Series Paper.  My sentiments were also stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink.

Hello Cupcake Stampin' Up!

This sweet Gable Box is  a nice size for a small gift.  I simply stamped my Lustrous White Mini Gable Box before assembling.  To top it off, I fashioned a paper bow with my Garden Impressions Designer Paper.

Hello Cupcake Stamp Poo Emoji?

IMG_2710 2

Hello Friends,

Do you love emojis as much as I do?  The Hello Cupcake stamps will be available starting January 3, 2019, for Sale-a-bration.   Did I mention that Sale-a-bration means Free stamps and other product?  Anyway, the cupcake icing from the Hello Cupcake stamp set makes a great  Poo Emoji.  I'll show some more sophisticated Hello Cupcake projects on Monday, but for today let's have a little fun with Poo Emojos.

IMG_2711 2

This first couldn't be easier to make.  I used a note card (item #131527), so even my card base was precut and scored.  Next, I stamped the icing with Soft Suede Ink and then I stamped a sentiment from the Sorry for Everything stamp set.  To make the emoji face, I punched a 1/2" circle (item #119869)  and cut it in half to form the mouth.  For the eyes, I used the Detailed Trio Punch (item #146320).  The oval is the whites of the eyes and the little dot was cut from Basic Black card stock.

I stepped things up just a tad for my second card.  This card is standard size (4-1/4" x 5-1/2").  All the elements are the same, but I added some puzzle pieces to go with my sentiment (Sorry for Everything stamps #143820).  I cut my puzzle pieces with Puzzle Pieces Dies (#146830) and Garden Impressions Designer Paper (#146289).

Stop back Monday to see the serious side of the Hello Cupcake stamps.

Have a fabulous weekend,

Daisy Delight Gift Box

For the second day in a row, I've given you a little Sneak Peek of the Merry Little Labels stamp set used in a non-holiday way.  I promise, I will make holiday project too.   It's just such a versatile stamp set.  Did you notice the new coordinating punch?  The Everyday Label Punch is bundled with the Merry Little Labels stamp set in the upcoming Holiday catalog, but it also coordinates with stamps in 2 additional stamp sets.

Daisy Punch Card

I used the All Things stamp set for the greeting on my card.  It's embossed in Gold to coordinate with the Gold Faceted Gems and the Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon.

Freshly Made Sketches

A Big Thanks to Freshly Mades Sketches for today's card sketch.  I flipped it and put the sentiment on top.

Daisy Wood Crate

The Daisies look fabulous tucked in the Wood Crate too.

Wood Crate

I fashioned my wood crate with the Wood Crate Dies and the Wood Textures Designer Paper.  Here a tip to get a wood crate from just one sheet of paper.  Cut a full crate half.  The second crate half will be missing a portion of its bottom, but it won't show because the bottom flaps overlap.
