Healing Hugs Stampin' Up!

Here's a super simple card to make with a whole lot of impact.  I'm always on the look out for a great Get Well Stamp set and I love the Healing Hugs photo realistic stamp set.

Healing Hugs Stampin' Up!

To make this card, I simply stamped my flowers using Daffodil Delight Ink and I stamped my leaves using Pear Pizzazz ink.  I stamped the sentiment using Old Olive ink to give it a little more pop.  The Shimmery White Card Stock offers and lot of shimmer, but added even more by painting over my flowers and leaves with my Wink of Stella brush.  The label was cut with the Stitched Labels Framelit Dies.

Hello Friends,

Yes, we love to make cards and pretty papercrafts.  If you didn't enjoy making cards, you probably won't be looking at this blog right now.   Do you send your cards?  It is so much fun to receive hand stamped cards in the mail.

Here's the Challenge!

World Card Making Day was this past Saturday.  Now it's time to send those gorgeous and funny cards. Welcome to our annual World Card Sending Week—happening now. Stampin' Up!'s goal is to send 60,000 cards from Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, customers, and employees between Sunday, October 4, and Sunday, October 11.

Don’t let those cards collect dust, send them this week with a handwritten message. Tag your card photos on Social media using #worldcardsendingweek2020 or #SU2020WCMD.

Sending Sunshine Stampin' Up!

This Sending You Sunshine would be a fun card to send for World Card Sending Week, plus it's easy to make.  Simply stamp a scene bathed in sunshine with the Sending Sunshine stamp set.  Trim your send with the Stitched Nested Dies.

Sending Sunshine Stampin' Up!

I inked my water stamps with Soft Sea Foam ink and layered the two stamps.  Next, I stamped the sunshine using So Saffron Ink.  I wanted a softer blue for my clouds, so I stamped off my Seaside Spray ink and then stamped my clouds.  The leaves and sentiment were stamped with Just Jade Ink.  I backed my stamped scene with Forever Greenery Designer Paper which is 15% off in the month of October.

Pumpkins and Sunflowers Cubed Pop Up Card

Pumpkins and Sunflowers Cubed Pop Up Card

Hello Friends,

Pumpkins and Sunflowers say autumn to me.  Thus, this Pumpkins and Sunflowers Cubed Pop Up Card was born with the help of the Jar of Flowers and Harvest Hellos stamp sets from Stampin' Up!.  I love Cubed Pop Up Cards for their fun 3-D look and because the fold neatly to fit in an envelope for mailing.  They are the best of both worlds-3D and mailable!

My Cubed Pop Up Card obsession began with this cute Cookie Monster card.  If you would like to learn how to make these cute cards, watch the video tutorial above.

Jar of Flowers Stampin' Up!

Coloring this Sunflower bouquet makes me happy.  This bouquet of flowers is from the Jar of flowers stamp set and was designed to fit in the Mason Jar in this stamp set, but I envisioned another way to use these sunflowers.  On this card, it looks like a sunflower bouquet lying on a countertop or shelf.

Pumpkins and Sunflowers Cubed Pop Up Card

Lots of bright, bold Stampin' Blend colors made this bouquet come to life.  For this sunflower bouquet, I used Mango Melody and Cinnamon Cider Blends for the Sunflowers, then I filled in the other flowers and leaves with Old Olive, Magenta Madness, and Rich Razzleberry Blends.
