Spirited Snowmen Anniversary Card

Spirited Snowmen Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Two members of my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Team are celebrating their Anniversary this week.  I know that I may be just a little early to think snowmen, but I couldn't resist making cute Anniversary cards using the Spirited Snowmen stamps and the strangely neglected Sweetly Stitched Dies.  I say neglected, because we should be seeing these dies everywhere.  They were introduced in the Holiday Catalog as a holiday die set, but their cuteness will easily spread across the year.

Spirited Snowmen Stampin' Up!

The Spirited Snowmen stamps also give me a chance to color with my beloved Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers.  Just look at how cute this snowman couple are.  And the stitched elements make such sweet accents.

Spirited Snowmen Stampin' Up!

For beautiful Anniversary sentiments, I looked to my Beautiful Bouquet stamps to fill in the gaps on my Anniversary Cards.  Speaking of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, did you know that October 16 has been designated Boss's Day?

National Boss's Day

In the fall of 2005, I chose to become my own boss, became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and started my own business.  Wow,  I'm so glad that I did!

Tandem Bike Anniversary Card

Tandem Bike Anniversary Card

Hello Friends,

Last week, I shared a picture tutorial on how to use the Bike Ride stamp set and Build a Bike dies.  When I was making the tutorial, I wondered about making a tandem bike with this set.  Was it possible?  Answer: Yes, you can make a tandem bike with the Bike Ride stamp set and Build a Bike dies.  Simply, snip off a bit of the back of one bike.

The tandem bike works fabulously for Anniversary cards.  I borrowed the sentiment and the dots stamp from the Petal Palette stamp set that is on sale for World Card Making Day.

Card by Robin Feicht

Here's the rest of the sentiment.  I was able to stamp just one word from the stamp by inking the word with a marker and stamping.  The stack of books is also from the Bike Ride stamp set.
Freshly Made Sketches

I really wanted to use my tandem bike on an anniversary card for my Son and Daughter-In-Law who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.  This Week's Freshly Made Sketches Card Sketch gave me the boost that I needed to complete my card.

World Card Making Day is just the kind of Day for us crafty types.  And while World Card Making Day is just one day, Stampin' Up! is offering 10% off select crafting projects for a whole week beginning today!  See what's on sale here.

Jar of Love Lights Up

Jar of Love Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

It's true that as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I we be ordering the latest and the greatest crafting supplies from the upcoming Holiday Catalog in August (Demonstrator Preorder), so that I can share projects with you before its launch in September.  But for this week, I've been pulling out some oldies but goodies from my Stamping Stash.  Today's card was made with the Jar of Love stamp set and  the Everyday Jars Dies.  I have to admit, every time I use this stamp set, I love the results.

Jar of Love Stampin' Up!

We're in the throws of summer here, so that makes me think of fireflies lighting up the evening sky.  I colored them with my Pineapple Punch Stampin' Blends.  Then, I stuffed my mason jar to overflowing with flowers stamped in Poppy Parade, Blueberry Bushel, Gorgeous Grape.  Hint:  For the Poppy Parade flowers, I stamped off or used 1/2 stretch Poppy Parade ink for the bottom layer.  I used the same stamping technique for the Pool Party water in my jar.

Jar of Love Stampin' Up!

For added texture I embossed my card base with the Basket Weave Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder.  I stamped my sentiment 3 times on 3 different card stock colors, then cut out the words that I wanted in each color.  Hint:  Just about everything is popped up with Mini Stampin' Dimensions.  The mini dimensions are a great size for all the tiny elements.

Craft Room Organiation

By the Way, just so there is no miss understanding.  I did a Craft Room Organization Tour a few weeks ago and my Craft Room was pristine condition.  But that doesn't mean that my desk to look like this when I am creating.  But the nice thing is that when I'm done creating, everything has a place and can be quickly put away.
