Do you enjoy making interactive cards?  Learn how to make this Peekaboo Slider Card with today's tutorial.  I had planned to have this ready for you this morning, but living on a gravel road in the country mean super slow internet speeds.  But at last, here it is.  Enjoy!  It's my way of saying good-bye to super sweet Holiday sets that are only available through December 31 or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.    I really hate to see the Spirited Snowmen and the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set go.

Pull out your Stampin' Trimmer.  It's time to make a Peekaboo Slider Card!  Learn how in the video tutorial above.

Here's the card before the snowman skates onto the scene from behind the trees.  The evergreen trees are from the Ready for Christmas stamp set.

Spirited Snowmen Anniversary Card

Spirited Snowmen Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Two members of my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Team are celebrating their Anniversary this week.  I know that I may be just a little early to think snowmen, but I couldn't resist making cute Anniversary cards using the Spirited Snowmen stamps and the strangely neglected Sweetly Stitched Dies.  I say neglected, because we should be seeing these dies everywhere.  They were introduced in the Holiday Catalog as a holiday die set, but their cuteness will easily spread across the year.

Spirited Snowmen Stampin' Up!

The Spirited Snowmen stamps also give me a chance to color with my beloved Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers.  Just look at how cute this snowman couple are.  And the stitched elements make such sweet accents.

Spirited Snowmen Stampin' Up!

For beautiful Anniversary sentiments, I looked to my Beautiful Bouquet stamps to fill in the gaps on my Anniversary Cards.  Speaking of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, did you know that October 16 has been designated Boss's Day?

Tandem Bike Anniversary Card

Tandem Bike Anniversary Card

Hello Friends,

Last week, I shared a picture tutorial on how to use the Bike Ride stamp set and Build a Bike dies.  When I was making the tutorial, I wondered about making a tandem bike with this set.  Was it possible?  Answer: Yes, you can make a tandem bike with the Bike Ride stamp set and Build a Bike dies.  Simply, snip off a bit of the back of one bike.

The tandem bike works fabulously for Anniversary cards.  I borrowed the sentiment and the dots stamp from the Petal Palette stamp set that is on sale for World Card Making Day.

Here's the rest of the sentiment.  I was able to stamp just one word from the stamp by inking the word with a marker and stamping.  The stack of books is also from the Bike Ride stamp set.
Freshly Made Sketches

I really wanted to use my tandem bike on an anniversary card for my Son and Daughter-In-Law who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.  This Week's Freshly Made Sketches Card Sketch gave me the boost that I needed to complete my card.

World Card Making Day is just the kind of Day for us crafty types.  And while World Card Making Day is just one day, Stampin' Up! is offering 10% off select crafting projects for a whole week beginning today!  See what's on sale here.
