ALTOIDS Tins as Gift Card Holders

ALTOIDS Gift Card Holder by Robin Feicht

Hello Friends,

We're 3 weeks out from Christmas.  How many Gift Cards do you give?  Joe eats boat loads of Peppermint ALTOIDS  throughout the year, hence I have bookoos of these tins and they make really cute Gift Card Holders.  ALTOIDS Christmas Gift Card Holders are super easy to make and what could be sweeter?  Let me show you how.

Cut and "stitch" your tree and package  with your Sweetly Stitched Dies.   Note that there are 2 dies for each design.  One will do the stitching and one will cut the shape.  You can use them together, as I did or use them separately.   Stamp "Just for You".  Sadly, the Sweetly Stitched Dies and the Nothing Sweeter stamp set are only available through December 31, 2018 or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST, so get yours before they are gone for good.

To make the Gift Card Slot punch with the Classic Label Punch on the middle score line.  Note:  You will need to make the slot bigger with your snips to fit your gift Card.  Round Corners with the Detailed Trio Punch and adhere to inside of tin.

Handmade Christmas Baker's Box & Gift Bag

Christmas Baker's Box by Robin Feicht

Hello Friends,

Let's talk!  Have you seen the Stampin' Up! Holiday Discontinued Products List?  What surprised you?  I was a little taken back that the Nothing Sweeter Bundle and the Candy Cane Season Bundle are leaving so soon.  I had big plans for Valentines Day and Birthdays using the Nothing Sweeter Bundle.  And who isn't in love with the cute Candy Cane Season Bundle?  Did I mention that these two bundles play especially well together?

Christmas Baker's Box by Robin Feicht

Christmas Baker's Boxes

Wow, these Baker's Boxes are not only food safe, but they are also quite roomy.  You can pack a lot of goodness in these 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 2-1/8" Baker's Boxes.  Think donuts, cookies, chocolate and other sweet treats for Gift Giving at Christmas, Valentine's Day and many other occasions.  They're good for anytime you need small gift packaging.  But today, they are for Christmas Gift Giving.  I'm thinking teachers, neighbor, secret sister and co-workers, just to name a few.

Baker's Box Design Tricks

My removable belly band and my heart and tree were all fashioned with Festive Farmhouse Designer paper.  If you look closely at the tree and the heart, you will notice that they are not only cute shapes, but they also have a lovely stitched edge made with the Sweetly Stitched Framelits dies.

The candy cane with the bow were stamped with Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green inks and punched with the Candy Cane Builder Punch.

I also stamped images from both the Nothing Sweeter and the Candy Cane Season directly onto the Baker's Box.  Note:  The baker's box is a little smoother than regular card stock, so you may want to heat set your ink.

I mounted all my elements on a Cherry Cobbler label cut with the Stitched Labels dies.

And what about this Gift Bag and Tag?  Aren't they just the sweetest?

Gift Bag & Tag Design Tips

My bag was super simple to make with the Gift Bag Punch Board and Festive Farmhouse Designer Paper.  I created a "cuff" to show off both sides of my handsome designer paper.  Simply fold over the top before assembling to make the cuff.

I once again stamped and punched a candy cane and box, but this time with Garden Green and Real Red Inks to match my fabulous Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape.  I used a little piece of all 5 Washi Tapes, because they are all gorgeous and fun.

I punched the top of my 2" Tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch and threaded a snippet of Festive Farmhouse Cotton  Twine through the top.

Handcrafted Christmas Ornament

Wisemen Still Seek Him Handcrafted Ornament

Hello Friends,

We all know that we can use the adorable Mini Pizza Boxes for giving small food and treat gifts, but did you know that they also make cute Christmas ornaments?  I recently saw the cutest little Farmhouse Ornament made by Tina Zinck and thought that it was quite the clever Idea.  I naturally wanted to come up with my own Robin original ornament, so I pulled out my mini pizza boxes and made this Wise Men Still Seek Him Christmas Ornament with my Hometown Greetings Edgelits dies.

Handcrafted Christmas Ornament Tips

I cut the window with my largest Layering Squares die.

My background and box edge are covered with Night of Navy papers from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper.

I backed my town windows with Gold Foil Paper and heat embossed "Wise Men Still Seek Him" with a stamp from the Illuminated Christmas stamp set and Gold Embossing Powder.

For snow, I scooped on Shimmery White Embossing Paste.  Tip: Putting on the embossing paste is a lot like frosting a cake.

And finally,  I attached my gingham bow and Gold sequin hanger with my handy, dandy hot glue gun.
