Slimline Card Measurements

Cut Card Base 8-1/2" x 7-1/2".  Note 8-1/2" is the height of the card.  Score at 3-3/4".

After cutting your card base from an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock, you will have a piece leftover that works nicely for a front panel.  The two layered pieces were cut 8-1/4 x 3-1/2" and 8" x 3-1/4".

Inside, I used both the Massive Thanks (cut and adapted to fit the occasion) and the Happy Thoughts stamp sets.  Both of these useful stamp sets are going away too.  The Massive Thanks says good-bye on May 3 and the Happy Thoughts bids farewell at the end of June.

Hint:  Stamp a stack of these to make ready to mail cards for lots of occasions, then color them at your leisure while watching T.V.

What could be better than a cute handmade card stamped with the Way to Goat stamps?  Answer:  A personalized Way to Goat card complete with a dancing goat and an old tin can

Seriously, these stamps are so stinkin' cute.  Let's talk about the card details.

Personalized Way to Goat Card Details and Supplies

Cut a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Thick Whisper White (#140272) Card Base.  Score at 4-1/4".  Stamp the dancing goat and tin can with the Way to Goat stamps (#152657) by Stampin' Up!.  Color the spunky goat and tin can with Cinnamon Cider (#153105), Seaside Spray (#154901), and Just Jade (#153107) Stampin' Blends directly on the card.  Stamp shadows and "Way to Goat with Seaside Spray (#150085) and Misty Moonlight (#153118) inks.

Now it's time to personalize your card with Playful Alphabet dies (#152706).  Cut Just Jade (#153079) numbers and Misty Moonlight (#153081) letters using the Playful Alphabet dies

Have you ever wondered what you will do with all those long thin scraps of pretty designer paper?  Try using them as accents on your cards.  For today's Way to Goat Card, I picked up a few random pieces of Flowers for Every Season Designer paper (#152486) to dress up my card.

Add a little dazzle with a few Whale of a Time Sequins (#152461) splattered across the dance floor (card).  Cha, Cha, Cha!  Your Party on a Card is complete and ready to mail!
