Sale-a-bration 2019 Less Than 2 Weeks Left

Painted Seasons Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Tomorrow is officially the first day of spring!  That also means that we are winding down on Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration 2019.  Less than 2 weeks remain to scoop up your freebies.  One of the freebies going away is the gorgeous Painted Seasons Bundle.  It's distinctive stamps are absolutely stunning.  It's going to be hard to say Good-Bye.  Today, I have a stack of Thank you cards and a  Happy Spring gift box to share with you.

Painted Seasons Stampin' Up!

What kind of handmade cards do you use the most?  For me it's Thank You Cards with Birthday Cards being a close second.  I swiped the sentiment from the All Things Thanks stamp set, but everything else comes from the Painted seasons bundle.    To make today's cards, I did lots of stamping and a bit of fussy cutting.  I took my color cue from the Painted Seasons Designer Paper.  I used Call Me Clover, Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove, Pool Party and Early Espresso Inks.  With the Distinctive stamps, it's one step stamping that looks like two-step stamping.

With spring officially beginning tomorrow, I thought that a Happy Spring Gift Box was a good idea.  The Happy Spring stamp is from the Fable Friends stamp set, but everything else is from the Painted Petal Bundle.  For a video on how to make custom boxes, click here.

I love the surprise thank you tucked in the box lid.  It's simply one of my card front used in a new way.  The other fun thing about making 3-D projects is that they show off both sides of your designer paper.

Here's the same look with different colors.

During Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration 2019, you may choose free gifts with every $50 or $100 spent.  See all the Sale-a-bration Freebies here.  Sale-a-bration 2019 ends March 31, 2019 or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST, so scoop up your must have today.

Amazing Life

Amazing Life Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

We received the Amazing Life stamp set at the Stampin' Up! Onstage in November.  I brought it home and promptly went on to the next shiny thing.  This week the Amazing Life stamp set has been on my radar once again.  It really is a fabulous stamp set, and the line art was just begging to be colored.    Armed with my Stampin' Blends, a cup of coffee and the Amazing Life stamp set, these 4 projects were born.  Which is your favorite?

Amazing Life Stampin' Up!

The Amazing Life stamp set can be bundled with the Rectangle Stitched Dies which are framelits Dies that I have not ignored.  The Rectangle Stitched dies are so versatile.  They have been showing up in lots of cards and other paper crafts.  Since this is my happy card, I paired everything with a Pineapple Punch Dot to Dot card base.  Doesn't it look like sunshine and happy thoughts?

Amazing Life Stampin' Up!

The 4 leaf clovers were super fun to color with my Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.  I used the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes to make this card.  It would be a great card to tuck in a lunch box or a backpack.

Amazing Life Stampin' Up!

That's not designer paper!  It is stamped images colored with Balmy Blue, Pineapple Punch and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends and I enjoyed every minute of the coloring process.  The results are very satisfying.

Amazing Life Stampin' Up!

The "Life's too short to say no to cake" stamp made me think of the food safe Baker's Boxes that carried over from the Holiday Catalog.  My favorite part of these boxes is the peek-a-boo window.  You may have noticed that I also used the Stitched Label Dies on several of my projects.  What can I say?  I couldn't resist.  For Clickable Links to all the supplies used for today's projects scroll down.

Both the Amazing Life stamp set and the Rectangles Stitched Framelits Dies are products to have in the Craft Room.  They work well together, but can easily be used separately.  Like them Both?  Bundle them and SAVE 10%.

Good-Bye Stamps

Kitchen Cabinet wreath by Robin Feicht

Hello Friends,

Merry Christmas!  With Christmas just a few short days away, I wanted to take the time to wish you a very Merry Christmas.  I'll be taking the next 4 days off to visit family and friends.  I'll see you again on Wednesday.

To wrap up our holiday products, I thought that I would share one final Christmas Decorating project that's oh so easy and give one final salute to some of my Retiring Holiday Favorites.  These products will only be available for short time longer (until January 2 or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST).  Now about my last Christmas Decorating project for 2018, I made these little wreaths yesterday to hang on my Kitchen Cabinets.  They were super simple and quick to make.  I found pine garland at the Dollar Tree.  The garland already looked like mini wreaths, so I left it just as it was and wired on red bows that I found on clearance at Lowes.  For the final step, I hot glued striped burlap trim to the top and hung.
