Wishing You Well Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Are you new to stamping and Card Making?  Or have you been around the block a few times, but still prefer the quick and simple, Back to Basics type cards?  You like to stamp, but your time is limited.  Simply seeing what happens when you combine stamps, ink and paper brings you joy.  If that's you, stop back every Tuesday for a Simple Stamping project here at Stamping Country.

One of my very favorite stamp sets for Simple Stamping is the Wishing You Well stamp set.  I especially like to stamp the bow.  Tap, tap, tap your stamp to your ink pad, apply to your paper and watch the magic.  The Wishing You Well bow almost looks 3-D.

Winter Woods Dashing Deer Shadow Box Card

Winter Woods, Dashing Deer Shadow Box Card

Hello Friends,

Today, I teamed 2 of my favorite Stampin' Up! Holiday Bundles, Winter Woods and Dashing Deer, to make this spectacular Shadow box card.  I admit that I'm a bit infatuated with Shadow Box Cards lately.  It all started with this Animal Outing Shadow box card that I made 3 weeks ago along with a tutorial on How to Make Shadow Box Cards.

Winter Woods Dashing Deer Stampin' Up!

Since I built this card from the inside out, I'll skip to the inside Shadow box first.  Don't you just love the way the Dashing Deer and the Winter Woods create a serene scene?  The Wood Textures Designer Papers make my card woodsy and outdoorsy and oh so masculine.   This is the perfect card for the men in your life.

Let's skip back to our equally handsome card front.  Love the rich wood grains combined with the deer and the pine bough.  I borrowed my birthday sentiments from the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set.
