Quick Dino Days Card

Hello Friends,

Here come the Dinosaurs, hear them roar!  When I saw the Dino Days stamp set in the 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog, I knew that I would have to have it.  It's just so stinkin' cute, plus I have grandsons that are wild about dinosaurs.  Today's card is a quick and easy sample of what you can do with the Dino Days stamp set.

I simply stamped my dinosaurs in an array of colors including Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Mango Melody, and Lovely Lipstick.  Then, I embossed the whole thing with my Corrugated Embossing Folder.

Jeremiah's last day in Jackson

If you saw Monday's Blog Post, you know that 30 plus of us will be together at our house by the weekend.  Some are here already.  I got to hold my newest grandson, Hudson for the first time.  We're having a Roarsome time!

All that to say, I am out of the office for the week, but you can still take advantage of the July Bonus Days when you place an order online.

July Bonus Days

For every $50 you spend before July 31 (before shipping and tax) earns a $5 Bonus Days coupon code that can be used August 1–31.

Plus, don't forget to add your Blossom Rewards for every $50 you spend to your Stamping Country Blossom Reward Card as my way of saying "thanks so much for being a loyal Stamping Country Customer!".

Georgia Gifted Teacher of the Year

My son, Jonathan, was named Georgia's Gifted Teacher of the Year!  We're so proud of him and such an occasion calls for a card.

Tree House Adventure Stampin' Up!

For years now, Jonathan refers to himself as Awesome at family events.  He signs his gifts from Awesome.  He signs his kid's gifts from Awesome's kids.  Today's Hooray! You ARE AWESOME Card keeps the family joke alive.

Treehouse Adventure Stampin' Up!

I don't know what it is about the Treehouse adventure stamp set, but I have a hard time keeping the house on the ground.  It does make a sweet Treehouse, but it's also fun to send it into the clouds.  I also know that the Treehouse Adventure stamp set was designed with children in mind, but honestly I have used this stamp set as much for adults as I have for children.

Treehouse Adventure Card Tips & Tricks

There are 3 stamps in this stamp set that are meant to be leaves for the tree, but with a little bit of imagination they also look like puffy clouds.

I sent the house soaring on an adventure with the balloons from the Hand Delivered stamp set.  I colored the balloons with a rainbow of colors using my Stampin' Blends.  Note: The Hand Delivered stamp set is a Hostess Rewards stamp set and is only available with orders over $150.

What Does Snow Day Mean to You?

Hello Friends,
Funny how 2 little words can mean 2 completely different things depending on your perspective.  Take the words SNOW DAY, for instance.   Do those words spark the same delight as my grandson, Grady, expresses in his video?
Colorful Seasons Stampin' Up!
Or are your thoughts more in tune with this "just breathe" card?   Stamping supplies can be like that too.  This sunny "Just Breathe" card was made with the same supplies as ....
Colorful Seasons Stampin' Up!
this "Have a wonderful Adventure" card.   Using the same supplies and I made two totally different cards.  Which one do you relate to best? When you hear "Snow Day" announced on the radio or across your T.V. screen, what's your reaction?  Are you curious what today's card supplies were?
Card Making With Robin Feicht

Card Design Tips

Both cards were stamped using the Sea of Textures and the Colorful Seasons stamp sets along with their coordinating dies, Under the Sea and Seasonal Layers.  I limited myself to 3 inks: Tuxedo Black, Gray Granite and Balmy Blue.

My Paper choices were also limited.  I used Gingham Gala Designer Paper along with Balmy Blue, Gray Granite and Thick Whisper White card stock.

I used 3 additional supplies to make my cards.  Dimensionals gave my cards the extra pop that they needed.  Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed sequins and Silver & Pool Party Baker's Twine brought in the party and the shine to my cards.

Extra Card Design Tip:  For the Snowy Adventure Card, I splattered Gray Granite ink across my card front to bring it to life.
