DIY Coffee Bar Ideas

DIY Coffee Bar Ideas

Hello Friends,

Remember when we used to simply plop a coffee Pot on our counters and call it good?  Last fall, I created this little Coffee Bar to organize and brighten our home.  But, I wanted it to house more than mere coffee.  I decided to also include hot cocoa and Tea.  It was decorated with a winter theme that was really cute, but now it's March and I found myself wishing for a hint of spring, so...

Coffee/Tea Bar Ideas

I turned to my Craft Room.  The Tea Together stamp set and Tea Time Dies were my solution for my DIY Coffee/Tea Bar.  I stamped teacups, a teapot and lots of spring flowers, then went to work coloring with my Stampin' Blends.  I couldn't resist casing the striped Teapot idea from the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration brochure on page 17.

I changed it up a bit.  The original idea was no-line watercoloring.  I wanted a bit brighter colors for my Coffee/Tea Bar, so I opted for Stampin' Blends instead of watercoloring.  Plus, the Tea Time Dies are a Free Sale-a-bration Gift option.

Back to How I made my Coffee Bar, because I know you are going to ask.  It's housed in an old wall oven cabinet minus the wall oven.  Hint:  Survey your home for an empty nook or corner to house your new Coffee Bar.  It doesn't have to be huge, just a small space dedicated to brewing up a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa.

DIY Coffee Bar

First, I painted the walls with Black Chalkboard Paint.

Next, I hung shelves and a small wooden crate that I found at Hobby Lobby.  I also tucked my coffee and filtered in cute containers.

The fun thing about Chalkboard paint is that it creates a chalkboard to write on.

My final tip is to change things up with the seasons to keep it fresh.  Stop back in the fall.  I'm sure I'll have something new brewing.

If you want to use the Tea Time Framelits in your own Coffee/Tea Bar or simply to make cards or scrapbook pages, scoop them up before they are gone.  Sale-a-bration ends March 31, 2019.

How to Make Easter Table Favors

DIY Easter Table Favor

Hello Friends,

Want a cute Easter Table favor idea that you can make?  Clear Tiny Treat Boxes are quick and easy bases to build your Table favors.  Because the boxes are clear the purple grass and Cadbury Eggs peek through to add a little extra cuteness.  I made the bow with Rich Razzleberry Card Stock and the Bow Builder Punch and attached with a glue dot.  See the Stampin' Up! video below for tips and tricks for making paper bows with the Bow Builder Punch.

Because its a Table Favor, I left the box fully open.  To decorate the back lid, I stamped a bouquet of daffodils with the You're Inspiring Stamp set and colored my daffodils with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin' Blends.  The sweet little bunny is part of a stamp from the We Must Celebrate stamp set.  After a touch of pink to his ears and nose, I fussy cut the little bunny to complete my projects.

Count My Blessings Tablescape or Card

Count My Blessings Table Decor

Hello Friends,

What's your plans for Thanksgiving?  We'll have a house full this year, so I thought that I would make these pretty Count My Blessings Table Decorations.  They were made with a conglomeration of products including the Count My Blessings stamp set, the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set along with the coordinating Cookie-Cutter Builder Punch and the Pretty Pines Thinlits dies.

Count My Blessings Table Decor

I added a spark of gold with a foil doily and Gold Emboss Powder.  And since I will have a number of hunters at this year's Thanksgiving Table and the week following Thanksgiving is deer season, I thought that it would be fun to add the reindeer from the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set.  I colored my handsome deer with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

The other fun thing about Tablescape piece is that it could easily be used at either Thanksgiving or Christmas.  And if you are not decorating a holiday table this year, today's project could just as easily be a card.
