Let It Ride Stampin' Up!

The Let It Ride stamp set by Stampin' Up! not only has some great horse and tree image, but it also includes encouraging sentiments, such as:

Take Life by the Reins

Live as if someone left the gate open

Go for it!

Let It Ride

For You (If you gift your stamped art, this would work perfectly for the Gift Packaging!)

Let It Ride Framed Art Tips

For today's project, I grabbed a frame, then measured my openings.

Next, I stamped my horse with Tuxedo Black Ink and Colored with my Soft Suede, Old Olive and Black Stampin' Blends.

For added ruggedness, I ran the whole thing through my Big Shot with my Pinewood Planks Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder.

And finally, I stamped "Live as if someone left the gate open.  Bing, Bang, my project was done!

Good Luck Card

Amazing Life Stampin' Up!Hello Friends,

Today's Card Idea is quick and easy.  It's a little 3" Good Luck card just in time for Saint Patrick's Day.   Naturally, you can think beyond St. Patty's day to anytime you wish to say "Good Luck".  The 4 leaf Clover also lends itself to 4-H Projects especially when combined with Call Me Clover.

4 Leaf Clover Card

I used Call Me Clover Card Stock, Ink and Stampin' Blends to complete my card.  Then, I tucked it in a Mini Envelope.

What Does Snow Day Mean to You?

Hello Friends,

Funny how 2 little words can mean 2 completely different things depending on your perspective.  Take the words SNOW DAY, for instance.   Do those words spark the same delight as my grandson, Grady, expresses in his video?

Colorful Seasons Stampin' Up!

Or are your thoughts more in tune with this "just breathe" card?   Stamping supplies can be like that too.  This sunny "Just Breathe" card was made with the same supplies as ....

Colorful Seasons Stampin' Up!

this "Have a wonderful Adventure" card.   Using the same supplies and I made two totally different cards.  Which one do you relate to best? When you hear "Snow Day" announced on the radio or across your T.V. screen, what's your reaction?  Are you curious what today's card supplies were?

Card Making With Robin Feicht

Card Design Tips

Both cards were stamped using the Sea of Textures and the Colorful Seasons stamp sets along with their coordinating dies, Under the Sea and Seasonal Layers.  I limited myself to 3 inks: Tuxedo Black, Gray Granite and Balmy Blue.

My Paper choices were also limited.  I used Gingham Gala Designer Paper along with Balmy Blue, Gray Granite and Thick Whisper White card stock.

I used 3 additional supplies to make my cards.  Dimensionals gave my cards the extra pop that they needed.  Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed sequins and Silver & Pool Party Baker's Twine brought in the party and the shine to my cards.

Extra Card Design Tip:  For the Snowy Adventure Card, I splattered Gray Granite ink across my card front to bring it to life.
