Step for Making a Bunny Treat Holder for Easter

Choose your paper for the bunny's body and cut with the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die.  I chose Flowers for Every Season Designer Paper.

Curve the 4 sides using a bone folder or ruler.  Hint this is much like curling ribbons.  Tuck a treat or two inside and assemble

Cut a bunny face with a tag die from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies set.

Draw a bunny face on tag and add Googlie Eyes.  Attach to body.

Punch a set of bunny ears using the Double Oval Punch.  Attach as shown.

Easter Treats Craft with Oval Occasions

Easter Craft

Hello Friends,

Easter Craft

How to Make This  Easter Treat Craft

Cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Purple Posy card stock.  Note:  Purple Posy is a retiring In Color. So, if you love soft and sweet color as much as I do, you will want to snag some Purple Posy for your craft room before it is gone.

Next, cut a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White Card Stock.  Stamp "Hugs & Kisses" and the hearts with Purple Posy and Rococo Rose ink pads.  Note: Rococo Rose is also a retiring In Color.

Clip the sides of your Purple Posy Card Stock with the Classic Label Punch or a circle punch to make a catch for your ribbon.

Stamp your bunnies, color and punch with Double Oval Punch.  Note: The much loved Double Oval Punch is scheduled to be back in sometime around the week of March 29.

In hind sight, it might have been fun to use chocolate kisses instead of Doves to match the hugs & kisses sentiment, but the blue foil is pretty too.

5 Hold on to Hope Card Techniques

Hold on to Hope Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Today's card made with the Hold on to Hope stamp set and the Cross of Hope Dies says it all.  It seemed appropriate for Easter, Passover and these unprecedented times.  I used 5 Card Techniques to make today's card.  Can you guess what they are?

Hold On To Hope Card Techniques

  1. Isaiah 46:4 was Heat Embossed.
  2. The embossed verse resisted the inks that I sponged and rubbed across the face of my card.  Hence, the technique is called Emboss Resist.  Colors from bottom to top are Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Balmy Blue.
  3. The cross was die cut with the Cross of Hope Dies and "Hold on to Hope" was die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
  4. The stamped vines were highlighted with a White Chalk Pen.  Highlighting dark stamped images is easy with a White Chalk Pen.
  5. The purple ribbon draped over the cross was dyed with my Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blend.  You can dye a white ribbon to any color you want with Stampin' Blends or inks.

Have a blessed weekend,
