Hello Friends,

How to Make a Shaker Card

How to Make a Shaker Card in 3 Easy Steps

  1. Cut an opening.  I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut my opening in my card front.
  2. Next, adhere a window sheet behind the opening.  Hint:  Cut your window sheet a little bigger than your opening.
  3. The 3 step is to apply Foam strips are the perimeter of your opening to create a frame and add your shakers before closing the back.

Under the Sea Stampin' Up!

I really love all the dies in the Under the Sea Framelit Dies set.  They make it so easy to create an aquatic scene.   I used the Tranquil Textures Sprinkles as my shakers.

Knock Knock Joke Sliding Door Card

Hello Friends,

What is it about Knock Knock Jokes and kids?  They love them!  What if I told you that you could make your own Knock Knock Joke Cards for all the kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews in your life?   I honestly can't believe that I didn't think of using the Barn Door stamp set for making Knock Knock Joke Cards before.  Pair it with the A Little Wild Stamps and the Pick a Pennant stamps and you have a winner.

Plus, let me let you in on a little secret....

Knock Knock Joke Sliding Door Card

Tomorrow, October 23, 2018 for 24 Hours Only Stampin' Up! is having a It's Our Birthday Stamp Sale and 2 out of 3 of these stamp sets will be on sale!

Knock Knock Joke Sliding Door Card

Let's get back to how to make these fun Knock Knock Jock Cards.  I started by coloring a couple cute animals with the A Little Wild Stamps.  I colored them with my beloved Stampin' Blends (Mango Melody Combo, Soft Suede Light, Daffodil Dark, Cajun Craze Combo) and set them aside.  My animals will be telling the joke since everybody knows that it takes two to do a good knock knock joke.

I used to Pick a Pennant Stamps to stamp my Knock Knock Joke.  Important Hint:  Cut a 4" x 2-1/2" piece of card stock, then stamp your joke so that half  shows up when the door is slid to the right and so that the punch line shows when the door is slid to the right.  As always, I included a card supply list at the bottom of my blog post for your shopping convenience.

Put on your Party Hats and stop back tomorrow and save 15% off select stamps.  Celebrate  30 Years with Stampin' Up! with this 24-Hour Only It's our Birthday Stamp Sale.
