2 Garden Shed Card Ideas

Garden Shed Stampin' Up!Hello Friends,

It's peek gardening season here in Ohio, so I thought that it might be fun to highlight the Garden Shed stamp set by Stampin' Up! with 2 cards the same, but different.  This is a gardener's dream stamp set.  If you missed it, I also made a Garden Journal in a post last week also featuring the Garden Shed stamp set.

Garden Shed Card Making Ideas

For both cards, I started by stamping garden pots images from the Garden Shed stamp set.  Then, I colored both with my Stampin' Blends and cut a frame with my Stitched Shapes Dies.  My sentiments were cut with the same dies and Rococo Rose Card Stock.

I cut a window frame for each card using my Stitched Rectangle dies and Mossy Meadow Card Stock.  The plant-based designed paper in from the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper stack.

My flower was pieced together in less than a minute using the Pressed Petals Washi Tape.

I embossed my Crumb Cake card base with my Pinewood Planks embossing folder, then splattered it with Merry Merlot ink.

Perennial Birthday

Perennial Birthday Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Do you like stretching your crafting dollars?  Try dusting off old favorites to use in new ways.  Remember how hot the Stitched Be Mine and Stitched Labels dies were when they debuted?  We couldn't get enough of them.  The Stitched Be Mine dies were all the rage around Valentine's Day and we simply couldn't get enough of the Stitched label dies when they first made their appearance in last year's Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

Perennial Birthday Stampin' Up!

Today, I paired these fabulous dies with a stamp set that's been around the block a few times, the Perennial Birthday stamp set to give them all a fresh new look.

Perennial Birthday Stampin' Up!

They didn't enter the crafting world together or even at the same time, but on today's Perennial Birthday Card they look as if they were always meant to be together.

Here's a Few Card Tips

I stamped a band of whimsical images from the Perennial Birthday stamp set using Crushed Curry, Gorgeous Grape, Tuxedo Black and Sahara Sand Ink.

Then, I colored the bigger flowers with Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.

To top everything off, I cut a whimsical selection of Whisper White shapes with the Stitched Be Mine and Stitched Labels dies to dance across the top of my card.  And finally, I fussy cut one little daisy just so I could pop it up.

Handmade Unicorn Birthday Card

handmade Unicorn Birthday Card by Robin Feicht

Hello Friends,

What is it about Unicorns and little girls?  Little Girls and Unicorns seem to go hand in hand these days.  With that in mind, I wanted to make a unicorn Birthday card for my granddaughter's upcoming birthday, but I haven't ordered the new Unicorn stamp set yet.  But with a little creativity, I was able to make a Unicorn Birthday Card with the supplies that I already owned.  It's sorta like a Punch Art Unicorn made with dies and markers.

Unicorn Birthday Card Tips and Tricks

The Petal Pink polka dot background is from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.

The horn is Sparkle Glimmer Paper cut with the little Sailboat die from the Smooth Sailing Dies.

The unicorn ears were cut with leaf dies from the Natures Roots dies and Whisper White Paper.

The flowers and leaves were stamped with the Tea Together stamp set and the Tea Time Dies.  I colored them with Purple Posy, Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.

I free handed the eyelashes with my Basic Black Dark Stampin' Blend.

The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set provided the Happy Birthday stamp.
