Timeless Tropical Birthday Card

Timeless Tropical Stampin' Up!

Coloring a Timeless Tropical Birthday

Timeless Tropical Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Some people dream of warm beaches and sunshine.  The Timeless Tropical stamp set by Stampin' Up! is a fabulous choice for making cards for hot weather kind of people.  You can almost hear the ocean and feel the warm breeze.

Timeless Tropical Stampin' Up!

To color my flowers and leaves I used vibrant colors and brushed on a hint of sparkle with my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to make everything look like it had been kissed by the sun.  My big tropical flower was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink then colored with a combination of Magenta Madness, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends.  My leaves were stamped with Old Olive Ink then lightly colored with Granny Apple Green Blends.  My smaller flowers were finished with a simple combination of Mango Melody.

To create my beachy background I inked up a water stamp from the Waterfront stamp set using Coastal Cabana Ink then stamped light and dark images.  I can almost hear the waves splashing in the background.

Personalized Birthday Card Fit for a Princess

Princess Birthday Card

Hello Friends,

Our granddaughter, Brooke, is a girly-girl.  She loves pink and Purple, princesses, and dresses.  So how do you make a Personalized Birthday Card Fit for a Princess?  Try using girly colors along with Playful Alphabet and Stitched Stars Dies.  The results are so pretty!

Granddaughter Birthday Card

Because she is our granddaughter, I inked with Magenta Madness ink stamps from the A Grand Kid stamp set to add birthday wishes inside my card.

Quite Curvy Stampin' Up!

Birds, leaves, and fun curvy sentiments, the Quite Curvy Bundle has so much to offer.  The Old World Paper Embossing Folder seemed a natural choice to add a bit of texture to my card.

Quite Curvy Stampin' Up!
The curves and leaves were all done with Plaid Tidings Designer Paper and Curvy Dies.  I colored the little birds using my Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends.
