How to Make a Card with Stamps, Ink, and Paper
Hello Friends,
During these very uncertain times, everybody misses somebody. So for today's Make It In Minutes Monday Card, I designed a Miss You Card using the Hot Dog stamp set from the January-June 2021 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog. Bonus, make this adorable handmade card with just stamps, ink, and paper!
I love to stamp when I am stressed. There's something magic about stamping. Ink up your stamp and press it onto your paper then watch your paper come to life. Just those few simple steps and BAM, you look like an artist!
Below I have Two Card Stamping Tips that will almost certainly ensure a successful Card Making Experience.
The Stamparatus Stamp Positioning Tool covers a multitude of mistakes. For today's card, I used it to stamp my White Ink on Poppy Parade Card Stock. Because I used my Stamparatus I was able to stamp twice for a clear crisp stamped image. I also used my Stamparatus to stamp my 2 dogs, bones, and my hi bubble. This is especially important for getting the solid black inside the hi bubble. I used acrylic blocks for stamping the rest of my images, but you could use the Stamparatus for all your stamping if you prefer.
Here's a Quick Video Tutorial for using the Stamparatus.
Tip #2, if you do miss a little line when stamping it is possible to fix your mistake with a marker. For instance, bet you would never know that my envelope up in the corner of my card wasn't perfect. I made a quick fix on a missed line with my marker.
Have a fabulous day,
