Making a Gorgeous Autumn Card

Country Home Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Today's Autumn Thank You Card was inspired by the Plaid Tidings Designer paper and its burst of colors.  Coloring is a great way to dispel the stresses of life and this card offers lots of opportunities for coloring.  I used the Country Home and the Harvest Hellos stamp sets to create this charming autumn scene, then I went to work coloring with my much loved Stampin' Blends.  With its random patterns and colors, this card is a lot like autumn in Ohio.

Autumn in Ohio

Sorry I couldn't resist sharing a little Ohio Humor.  Now let's get back to the details of making a gorgeous autumn card.

Coming Home Stampin' Up!

Today's card consists of mostly stamping and coloring.  I did splatter a bit of ink and scatter some sequins to add a bit of interest to the background.  The leaves were stamped on Plaid Tidings Designer paper with Cinnamon Cider Ink and then fussy cut.  Believe it or not, the pumpkin was cut using the Apple Builder Punch.  It coordinates with the Harvest Hellos stamp set which includes both a pumpkin and an apple.

Country Home Card Colors

Pretty Peacock

Cajun Craze

Mango Melody

Cinnamon Cider

Rich Razzleberry
