Game On Birthday Card

Game On Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Wow, my grandkids love to play games.  It's not uncommon for them to head straight to the Game closet when they come for a visit at Nana and Papa's House.  So naturally when I saw the Game On stamp set from Stampin' Up!, I knew that it was a must-have stamp set.  This birthday card is for my grandson, Aiden, who has a birthday coming up in July.

Game On Card Tips

To achieve the black and white feel with just a pop of color, I inked my game pieces with Smoky Slate Ink and my "Roll with it" sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink.  The clovers were inked with Just Jade ink.

To mimic the look of playing cards, I rounded my corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.

With my Water Painter, I splattered specks of Smoky Slate ink across my card front.

Just to prove that Elegant Faceted Gems aren't exclusively for the ladies, I dotted 3 across Aiden's Birthday Card.

A Grand Kid Stampin' Up!

With 15 grandkids, the A Grand Kid stamp set is a must for card making.  I love all the fun and witty sentiments included in this set!
