Simply Thankful Holiday Card

Handmade Holiday Card

Hello friends,

As I sit here drinking my morning Cup of Joe, I am mentally running through my day.  There are the normal cooking and cleaning chores leading up to our Thanksgiving feast, but I am also anticipating the phone calls from my sons and grandchildren with their annual pie requests.  The pie requests will be strategically made so that no pie is requested twice.  Imagine a list that looks something like this.

Thanksgiving Pie Requests

Pumpkin

Peanutbutter

Apple

Cherry

Peach

Bumbleberry

Pecan

Lemon Meringue

Key Lime

Coconut Cream

Chocolate

etc...

You get the idea.  It is beyond ridiculous, but it is all in good fun.

Thanksgiving Christmas Card Stampin' Up!

On Saturday, we will all go to a locally owned family run tree farm to select our Christmas Trees.  While we are there we will see the baby farm animals, Santa and some of his reindeer and take a wagon ride to tour the old farmhouse decked out for Christmas.

Is it any wonder why today's card is a crazy combination of Thanksgiving and Christmas?  To make today's card, I used an assortment of dies and only one stamp.  The dies used for today's card were Cup of Cheer, Stitched Shapes and Support Ribbon.  I stamped my sentiment with the Country Home stamp set.  I threw in a snippet of the gorgeous Classic Weave Ribbon for good measure.  Scroll down for a complete list of today's card supplies.

Do you have some fun traditions that you would like to share?  I love hearing from you.  Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving,
