How to Make a Winter Card

Winter card by Robin Feicht

Hello Friends,

Two things influenced today's card.  We're bracing for our first tracking snow here in Ohio and the deer are actively moving about.  A tree line blanketed with snow is such a beautiful backdrop for wildlife, especially deer.  I used both the Detailed Deer and the In the Woods dies to cut my deer, tree and flowers.  For this card, I think the dainty flowers take on the look of snowflakes.

I tucked my deer behind a vellum circle for a frosty look.

Adding Sparkle to a Card

Each sheet of Wrapped in Plaid Designer paper includes ribbons of gold foil.

Heat Embossing with Gold Emboss Powder on Vellum brings more shine.

And the lovely sequins dotting the flowers add the final bit of shimmer.

Have a fabulous day!
