Garden Shed Journal
July 30, 2019
Hello Friends,
Have you seen the Garden Shed Stamp set by Stampin' Up!. Every gardener has probably dreamed of a garden shed like that at one time or another. Today, I paired the Pressed Petals Journal with the Garden Shed stamp set to make a pretty Gardening Journal.
Garden Shed Journal Tips
If you enjoy coloring, the garden shed is a dream to color. I used my Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers, but it could also be colored with colored pencils.
My lovely yellow door was colored with So Saffron Stampin' Blends. I used a combination of Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for my greenery. And the shed siding is a blend of Smoky Slate and Gray Granite to give it an aged look. My roof and flower potted were colored with Cajun Craze.
The Pressed Petal Journal is a fun size. I love the embossed cover and the printed pages. I could totally see using these little cuties for memory keeping too.
The flower was a breeze to make with the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape. Watch as she shows you how in the video below.
This Pressed Petal Suite Video by Stampin' Up! showcases the inside of the journal at about the 5:48 point. She showcases the Pressed Petal Washi tape starting at the 5:08 point in the video.
