Today, I'm using the Ribbon of Courage stamp set by Stampin' Up!. It was designed for Breast Cancer Awareness, but it is so much more. The sentiments are full of faith and love and they are done with a playful mix of dancing fonts and print. Besides the obvious support ribbons, the Support Ribbon die set also surprises us with lovely detailed flower and leaf dies and several hearts.
I cut the flower from Gingham Gala Design Paper Paper.
It gives it a really cheerful yellow and white look.
Simple Card Making Tips
The pretty leaf paper done in Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White was taken from the Floral Romance Designer Series Paper. You'll be seeing more of this gorgeous paper put to work next week.
All the dies except for the ovals are Support Ribbon Framelits Die set. I especially like the flower and leaf dies. They are so unexpected in this set.
The Ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals die set. I stamped a sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set with Pear Pizzaz ink onto my oval. The heart was stamped with Real Red Ink.
My favorite part of today's card is the eclectic mix of papers and dies and the way the come together.
A Big Thanks to Color Throwdown for today's pretty spring color combination. I used Pear Pizzaz and Real Red along with Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala Designer Paper.
