DIY Coffee Bar Ideas
March 07, 2019
Hello Friends,
Remember when we used to simply plop a coffee Pot on our counters and call it good? Last fall, I created this little Coffee Bar to organize and brighten our home. But, I wanted it to house more than mere coffee. I decided to also include hot cocoa and Tea. It was decorated with a winter theme that was really cute, but now it's March and I found myself wishing for a hint of spring, so...
I turned to my Craft Room. The Tea Together stamp set and Tea Time Dies were my solution for my DIY Coffee/Tea Bar. I stamped teacups, a teapot and lots of spring flowers, then went to work coloring with my Stampin' Blends. I couldn't resist casing the striped Teapot idea from the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration brochure on page 17.
I changed it up a bit. The original idea was no-line watercoloring. I wanted a bit brighter colors for my Coffee/Tea Bar, so I opted for Stampin' Blends instead of watercoloring. Plus, the Tea Time Dies are a Free Sale-a-bration Gift option.
Back to How I made my Coffee Bar, because I know you are going to ask. It's housed in an old wall oven cabinet minus the wall oven. Hint: Survey your home for an empty nook or corner to house your new Coffee Bar. It doesn't have to be huge, just a small space dedicated to brewing up a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa.
DIY Coffee Bar
First, I painted the walls with Black Chalkboard Paint.
Next, I hung shelves and a small wooden crate that I found at Hobby Lobby. I also tucked my coffee and filtered in cute containers.
The fun thing about Chalkboard paint is that it creates a chalkboard to write on.
My final tip is to change things up with the seasons to keep it fresh. Stop back in the fall. I'm sure I'll have something new brewing.
If you want to use the Tea Time Framelits in your own Coffee/Tea Bar or simply to make cards or scrapbook pages, scoop them up before they are gone. Sale-a-bration ends March 31, 2019.
Have a fabulous day,

I love the chalckboard colour and the possibility to write/draw on. It is also a lovely contrast to all projects we can stick on it. I also like colours on your cup of tea/coffee.
