No-Line Watercoloring (Sorta) & Tea Together

Tea Together Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I love the soft look of this Sorta No-Line Watercoloring Technique.  And the Tea Together stamp set works so, so well for this technique.   The soft images look so lovely against the textured Whisper White background.  Speaking of textures, I used a variety of dies and one embossing folder to add texture and interest to my card.  For your convenience, I've provided links to all of today's card supplies at the bottom of this post.  I used a fair amount of supplies for today's card, but the good news is that several of my supplies were Free with Sale-a-bration.

You'll notice that I used colored inks rather than black to stamp the line art images for a softer watercolor look.  This Watercoloring Technique is a variation of the No-Lines Coloring Technique, because I actually want to see the lines, especially on the cup.   But ........I want the lines to be softer.  This is a really fun technique to try and the Tea Together stamp set really lends itself to this technique.

My biggest tip for using this technique is to use a light hand and just a teeny bit of ink when painting with your Aqua Painter.  You can always go back and add another layer of ink for depth, but if you get you ink too dark in the beginning it's hard to take away.

Have a fabulous day,
