Stampin' Up! OnStage Swap 2018
November 12, 2018
Hello Friends,
We had a fabulous time at the 2018 Stampin' Up! OnStage! Today, I thought I would share my OnStage Card Swap with you and how I made it. It's a long standing tradition to swap cards and 3-D Paper Crafts when attending Stampin' Up! live events. Since Stampin' Up! is celebrating 30 years, I went with a Congratulation theme and since we meet in Orlando, Florida, I also went tropical.
First, I stamped all my elements starting with the two-toned flowers from the Tropical Chic stamp set. To make my flowers, I inked the center of my rubber stamp with Flirty Flamingo Ink with my sponge dauber. Then, I ink around the center with Daffodil Delight ink on another sponge dauber. After I had them all stamped, I cut them out using my Tropical Dies.
Stamping the flamingoes was a 3-step process. I used my Stamparatus, stamp positioning tool to stamp multiples of the flamingoes. I find that stamping the flamingo outline first makes it easier to line up the other stamps. My second layer was stamped with Powder Pink and my third layer was stamped with Flirty Flamingo.
By using several different Stamparatus plates I was able to stamp my partial Buffalo Check background, my flamingo legs and my sentiments by simply changing out the plates. Speaking of Stamparatus plates, did you know that you can purchase additional plates now? See all the new Stamparatus new accessories here.
