How to Personalize a Birthday Card for Dad
October 30, 2018
Hello Friends,
My Dad's Birthday is coming up next month and I thought that it might be fun to personalize his Birthday Card this year. The key to making great guy cards is simplicity. Fluff is out when making cards for the guys in your life. Dad's Birthday Card started with the striking Broadway Bound Designer Paper. The black, white and gold candles are a fabulous way to start a Birthday Card.
To compliment the Broadway Bound Paper. I cut a gold foil and a whisper white oval with my Layering Ovals Dies. Next, it was time to stamp. To personalize Dad's Card, I used the Make a Difference stamps to spell out Dad. The Happy Birthday and the party blowout were stamped with the Picture Perfect Birthday stamps. I gold embossed the party blowout fringe and fussy cut my party toy to place it where I wanted it. And the "fabulous at any age" was stamped with the Itty Bitty Greetings stamps.
Inside I stamped a simple birthday sentiment from the Picture Perfect Party stamps and my Handmade Birthday Card for Dad was done! So the next time you need a simple and quick card, pick a paper and start stamping.
