Hometown Greetings Sparkling Christmas Card

Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies

 Hello Friends,

There's a new toy in my Craft Room and I simply had to play with it.  So, of course, I made a card.  For today's card I decided to pair the Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies and the Illuminated Christmas stamps.  These little dies offer so many possibilities.  I feel a Bridge Card Tutorial coming in the near future.

 What's That Sparkle?

  1. Shimmery White Embossing Paste-Doesn't it look like snow shimmering in the moonlight?
  2. Gold Foil Sheets-I placed bits and pieces of Gold Foil Sheets behind my building and houses for extra pop.
  3. Gold Heat Embossing-Continuing with my Gold and White theme, I Heat Embossed my sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder.  All the sentiments for today's Card come from the Illuminated Christmas stamps.

Embossing Paste

Now about that embossing paste.  It's super easy to use.  Simply spread on a layer of paste and allow to dry.  It's a lot like frosting a cookie or cake.  I used the Shimmery White Embossing Paste to look like glistening snow.

Illuminated Christmas Stampin' Up!

I carried the Wise Men still seek him theme through to the inside of my card.  The gold embossing on the Night of Navy card stock is really striking.

Thanks so much for stopping by Stamping Country.

Have a fabulous day,
