Sweetly Stitched Candy Cane Season

Sweetly Stitched Candy Cane Season Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Have you caught yourself merrily humming or singing Christmas Carols yet this year?  There's so much cuteness in this year's Stampin' Up! Holiday, that I simply can't help myself.  The holiday tunes seem to spill right out of my mouth.  And today's sweet Christmas Card is no exception.  Just look at the adorable stitching and the yummy candy cane decked out in a bow!  I started my card with the Candy Cane Season Bundle and added finishing touches with the Sweetly Stitched Dies.

Then, I backed it all up with the adorable All is Bright Designer Paper.  The red, white and green bulbs inspired my color combination of Real Red and Call Me Clover.

To add depth to the bow, I first stamped the outline using Call Me Clover ink, then I colored in the outline using my Light Call Me Clover Stampin' Blend.

Today's card was inspired by another great card sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

I like morning glories because they are colorful and very beautiful. And morning glories don't need people to plant, fertilize, or water, to bloom beautifully. So, I like morning glory.
