Christmas in July Eclipse Card

Ready for Christmas Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Today's the last day of July and I haven't done a "Christmas in July" Card yet.  I couldn't let that happen, so here's my Christmas in July card.  It's also an Eclipse Card made with the Ready for Christmas stamp set and my Large Letters Framelits Dies.

Last Day- July 31, 2018 also marks the end of the 10 Free Ink Pads Deal and the Buy 3 Get One Free Designer Paper Deal.  If you wanted to take advantage of either of these offers, today is your last shot.

Eclipse Card Technique

The cute stamped images from the Ready for Christmas stamp set really does make a cute Christmas scene  start for an Eclipse Card.   Watch the video below to learn How to Make an Eclipse Card.

Add some "POP" to your cards.  Learn to do the Eclipse Technique.

I stamped and colored my scene with Stampin' Blends in preparation for cutting the letters for my Eclipse Technique.

Back to School Card

Bike Ride Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

It's that time of year again.  There's gobs of 50 cent Back to School Deals, some states are offering Sales Tax Days for certain back to school needs.  Schools are opening their doors to students this week and the weeks to come.  All these things made me think of the perfect Back to School stamp set.  It called Bike Ride.  I love this set.  Along with the adorable bike, it has a stack of books, sunflowers, apples, a picnic basket, more flowers and even a little doggie.

If you love holidays—and don’t love taxes—I have some great news for you! Twelve U.S. states will have sales tax holidays for school supplies over the next several weeks. The dates for each state’s sales tax holiday will vary; the definition of “school supplies” will also vary from state to state. Fortunately, a selection of Stampin’ Up! products qualify as school supplies and will be tax-free during each state’s sales tax holiday period. (Sales tax holidays may not apply to additional county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.)

To find out which states are participating—and which products will be tax-free for each state—download this.

Back to today's card, the cute bubble designer paper is Tranquil Textures which is included in the Buy 3 Get One Free Designer Paper sale that ends tomorrow July 31, 2018.  My accessories include Brads (Mint Macaron) and Nature's Twine (Razzleberry).  The "Thanks for everything"  stamp is from the All Things Thanks stamp set.
