Picture Perfect Birthday Guy Card

Picture Perfect Party Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Many of you know that there are lots of guys in our family, so I make lots of masculine cards.  This one is for my son, Jeremiah, who has a May birthday.  I used the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, the Balloon Bouquet Punch and the True Gentleman Designer Paper for today's masculine birthday card.  By stamping the flame above my sentiment the sentiment takes on the look of a candle.  The balloons were punch from my designer paper.  For a tassel look I tied medium Navy Baker's Twine around the neck of my balloons, then separated the strings.

Multiple Color Ink on stamps

The Stamparatus and Markers work great together for crisp clear Rainbow stamping.  Using the Stamparatus allows me to stamp the image a couple of times catching and spots that I may have missed the first time.  Plus, each time you stamp you image gets a bit darker.  To apply the ink simply brush the markers across your stamp.  I took my cue for colors from my designer paper.  I used Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Tranquil Tide and Night of Navy.

The end result is a real Wow an it's so easy to do!  The Gentleman Designer Paper (retiring) is a slam dunk hit for making masculine cards.
