Rich Razzleberry Flirty Flowers

Flirty Flowers Stampin' Up!Hello Friends,

My Stampin' Blend Markers are making me fall in love with coloring all over again.  For today's card, I created a playful backdrop with the Flirty Flowers stamp set.  These quirky little flowers are so fun to color.

Flirty Flowers Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Blends Markers are fabulous for coloring line art stamped images, but did you know that you can also use them to color soft, billowy backgrounds.  For today's card, I colored with the brush tip end of my Light Crumb Stampin' Blend between my flirty flowers.

Coloring Ribbon for Card MakingQuick Tips

I love the Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon the way it, but did you know that you can also add color?  Yep, for today's card I colored a length with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blend.

I created the lovely detailed scallop with a die from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies set and Gold Foil Paper.  The sentiment label was cut with the same dies.  The Petals & More Thinlits Dies were designed to be used with the Petal Palette stamp set, but don't stop there.  As you can see, they pair nicely with the Flirty Flowers stamp set too.

Add extra shimmer to your colored images with your Wink of Stella Pen.  Simply, brush it over your colored images.

Karen is the hostess for this week's Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge.   She chose Rich Razzleberry, Garden Green and Sweet Sugarplum and for dessert add some scallops.  I substituted Old Olive for Garden Green so that I could play with my Stampin' Blend Markers.   Join us for this week's CC676 Color Challenge Here.

Blooming Basket

Blooming Basket Stampin' Up!Hello Friends,

Happy Monday!  We had an action packed weekend here.  Seventeen of us were slushing through the mud making Maple Syrup.  The never ending rain made mud up to our knees.  But, in spite of all that, we had a perfectly marvelous time just being together.  Cooking Maple Syrup together, is just a great excuse to get together.

I'm happy to say that it is a gorgeous sun shiny day here today!  To celebrate, here's a few quick and easy happy cards made with the Blooming Basket stamp and the Basket Weave embossing folder.

Cousins

These cousins didn't let a little bit of mud stop them from having a fabulous weekend!

Blooming Basket Stampin' Up!

I colored my blooming basket with vibrant Stampin' Blend Colors.  My flowers are a blend of Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight with a touch of Old Olive in the center.  And just for fun I added Rich Razzleberry accents to my bouquet.  I colored my basket with Dark and Light Shades of Crumb Cake.

Blooming Basket Stampin' Up!

Quick Tips:  To make the cute scallop edge, I simply used just one side of the largest scalloped square in from the Layering Squares Dies.  To make my flowers look like they have been kissed by the sun, I  simply brushed on some Wink of Stella.

The Blooming Basket  bundle is available as a FREE Sale-a-Bration Gift with your $100 Online Store Purchase.  Available now through March 31, 2018.
