7 Step Card Making with Lots of Lavender

Lots of Lavender Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Love stamping?  Love Free Stuff?  Me too!  I was just hanging out in my Craft Room stamping a simple card made with the Lots of Lavender stamp set.  The Lot's of Lavender is a 2-Step stamp set with lots of possibilities and it's FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration (January 3-March 31, 2018).  Let me show you how to make this sweet Lots of Lavender card.

7 Step Lots of Lavender Card

Step One-Stamp Lavender outlines on a 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" pieces of Whisper White card stock.  That's the first step in this 2 step technique.

Step Two-Stamp the fill in colors.  I used Wisteria Wonder for the Lavender, Old Olive for the leaves and Berry Burst for the bows.

Step 3-Lightly splatter a bit of Berry Burst Ink using your Aqua Painter.  It's still a Clean Fresh look with a teeny tiny pops of color.

Step 4- Layer on Wisteria Wonder card stock (5-1/2" x 3-3/4") and then on a Whisper White Card Base.

Better Together Stampin' Up!

Step Five-Stamp your sentiment piece.  To make it look like lined paper, I color my lined stamp from the Better Together Stamp set with Blushing Bride and Pool Party Stampin' Write Markers, then stamped.   And because it's better together, stamp "Just a Note" over the lines.

Step Six-Look for bits and pieces to doll up your card.  Here's what I found-1/4" Copper Trim pulled to look net like, Very Vanilla Lace Trim, Linen Thread tied into a double bow, a length of Wisteria Wonder Card Stock and an adhesive-backed Trutti-Frutti sequin.

Step Seven-Arrange and adhere.  Your Card is completed!

This is so pretty! I love how you dressed up the sentiment with the lacy ribbon and the linen thread. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
