Grateful for You Sweet Baby

For All Things

For All Things

I love to do unexpected things with my stamps and crafting supplies.  Today I used the For All Things stamp set (an autumn stamp set) to make a soft and sweet baby card.

Colton 4 Months

My Daughter-In-Law posted this sweet picture of our grandson, Colton, the other day.  He's the inspiration for today's card.  Although, today's card message is true for all my grandbabies.

For All Things

 Card/Scrapbook?

Today's Project is a card, but I can easily envision this as a scrapbook page.  Or wouldn't it be fun to write a message to your sweet baby in this card and tuck it in a scrapbook or baby book?

Robin's Stamping Tips

  • My colors were chosen based on the colors from the Lullaby Designer Paper.  Coastal Cabana, Hello Honey, Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White
  • I love the look of watercolor for autumn leaves.  To achieve this look, I inked my stamps, lightly misted with water and stamped on watercolor paper.  Trim and curl.
  • My tag was punched with the Angled Tag Topper Punch from Lullaby Designer Paper.  Then, I did a little paper-piercing with the Eclectic Paper-piercing template.
  • With my Simply Scored Scoring Tool I scored around the edges for a little extra texture.

Baby, We've Grown

Finally, I inked the Sweet Baby Stamp from the Baby, We've Grown Stamp set in the corner.

Simple Saturday Card-Fabulous Four

Holiday Home

Hello Stampers,

Welcome to another Simple Saturday Card.  Card making doesn't have to be hard or tedious, so let's keep our Saturdays Simple.

Holiday Home

Robin's Card Tips

  • I wanted the "Amazing.Spectacular.Fantastic.YOU" to pop, so I inked the celebrate with Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the other words with my Cherry Cobbler marker before stamping.
  • Next, I stamped a row of houses from the Holiday Home photopolymer stamp set.  The name of the set is Holiday Home, but it's a fantastic stamp set for year around.
  • I stamped the same house one more time and cut it out with the Homemade Holiday Framelits and colored with Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities.

For All Things Stampin' Up! Style

For All Things

Give Thanks for All Things.  I love fall.  The vibrant burst of color, cooler days, crunchy leaves and crisp apples are so invigorating.  The For All Things stamp set captures the essence of fall.  Oak leaves, grains and acorns bring the outdoors to your craft room.  Watercolor stamps splash on vibrant colors.

Robin's Stamping Tips

  • First, I stamped rich autumn colors randomly across my card front.  (Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze and Rich Razzleberry)
  • Then, I embossed the whole thing with my Woodgrain embossing folder.  Fall projects call for lots of texture.

For All Things

  • To highlight "Thanks", I stamped my watercolor banner just beneath the word thanks.
  • Burlap ribbon and linen thread wrap things up nicely.
