Card Details

• Stamped Background is the BIG NEWS stamp set.
• Candle is BIG NEWS stamp set. The Star is Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  I colored my Rhinestone with my Daffodil Delight Blendabilities.
• Admit One Ticket was stamped with the That's the Ticket Stamp Set on Kraft card stock.
• Banner was stamped with BIG NEWS stamp set and cut with Bitty Banners Framelits Dies.

Finally, I made my envelope with the Envelope Punch Board and Maritime Designer paper.  Tall & Skinny Cards look better in an envelope the fits.  My 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" Card is considered a Gladstone, so I scrolled down the sizes on my envelope punch board to find Gladstone.  The results are in.  Photopolymer stamps are perfect for the 2 Step Stamping Technique, because you can see through the stamp for perfect positioning.

What is 2 Step Stamping?

1. First, the base image is stamped. For this sample I stamped the solid leaf from the Flower Patch stamp set with Old Olive Ink.
2. The next step involves postioning and stamping the overlay or adjoining image.  My overlay stamp was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink. 

If you've never tried 2 Step Stamping the Flower Patch stamp set by Stampin' Up! is a fun set to get your feet wet.  For today's card both the background and the tag use the 2 Step Stamping Technique.
