What a Year Scrapbook Layout

Make a Scrapbook Layout that is a snapshot of your year.  Roll across your year as if watching a movie film of the headline news of a year in your life.

Scrapbook Title-Lay your scrapbook title out on a piece of First Edition Designer paper #121878 to make your title appear as Headline News.  The title is die cut from Early Espresso cardstock #119686 and Timeless Type Junior Alphabet #115951.  The 2-Way Glue pen #100425 is the perfect solution to applying your title. Underline your title with  a Real Red #102482 Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border #119275.

Scrapbook Accents-Use your accents to give to illusion of a film strip with the Spiral Border Punch #119872. Fill each frame with a brightly colored embossed flower using the Flower Burst embosslit die #114515 and the Simple Flower die #114514.

Here's another Scrapbook Layout for you showing that card making and scrapbooking are similar.  Think of a card as a small scrapbook page.

Stamp a Scrapbook Background:

You can have the look of custom designer paper with rubber stamping

  • The Charming stamp set was used for this page.  First, stamp the small background stamp randomly with Crumb Cake Ink.
  • Next, color your flower image with your Pink Pirouette and Always Artichoke markers. Stamp several times, then repeat the process.
  • Fill in your holes with the butterfly image and Pink Pirouette ink.
  • Age your page with a stampin' Sponge and Pink Pirouette ink. Beautiful!
