You've probably guessed by now that the Smitten Mittens and Hug in a Mug are the 2 retiring stamps sets from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog that I will miss the most. I knew the moment that I first saw the Smitten Mittens stamp set that I would use it for Memory Keeping in addition to cards and other paper crafts. Both Smitten Mittens and Hug in a Mug are what I would classify as warm & fuzzy, cute stamp sets. Maybe that's why they work so well together.
The adorable children in today's layout are 2 of my precious grandchildren, Grady and Brooke. I chose to make a Pink Pirouette Heart with my Sweet & Sassy Framelit Dies to coordinate with Brooke's mittens. It's also a cute place to add some text to my layout.
The Black & White buffalo plaid paper mirrors Grady's cap, plus I am quite fond of the Merry Little Christmas Designer Paper. The red mittens were cut with the Many Mittens dies that coordinate with the Smitten Mittens stamp set. How many pictures of children in mittens do have in your stash?
You may recognition this Smitten Mitten Card from a previous blog post. It was my design inspiration for today's Memory Keeping layout of Grady and Brooke.
This card can also be made with some of the same supplies that I used for today's Scrapbook Layout. Scroll to the bottom of this post for a complete list of supplies to make today's project.

Welcome to the 12 Weeks of Christmas Week 10. For today's projects, I made a sweet little gift bag filled with December Deliciousness and a "It's the Little Things" card. Both projects were stamped with The Little Things Stamp set. The extra little touch on both projects that I love the most is the textured brick wall pattern. It was super easy to make with embossing paste and Pattern Party Decorative Masks. Every time I use the embossing paste, I am delighted by just how fast it dries and the lovely textured patterns. The little brick wall makes both projects go from nice to Wow!
My December Deliciousness Bag was made with the Gift Bag Punch Board. Before assembling, I slapped on a bit of embossing paste with the Brick Wall mask from the Pattern party Decorative Masks. I used markers to fill my stamp with 3 different ink colors. The adorable little gift bow is a Season of Glitz Mini Gift Bow.
Love the eclectic mix of card elements on today's card. It's all the little things that add up to a whole lot of cuteness.
Just a Note: The Little Things Stamp set, the Season of Glitz Mini Gift Bows and the Foil Snowflakes are all retiring with the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog and are available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
Thanks to the Paper Players for their Christmas Baking Challenge. It inspired me to use my neglected The Little Things stamp set. There's so much cuteness in this stamp set.
And thanks to Inspired by All the Little Things for their lovely soft blue winter inspiration. As an add bonus, I used the "It's the Little Things" as the sentiment today's card.
And now for an Important Announcement About the Change in the Stamparatus Reservation Windows
The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided Stampin' Up! with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool and for good reason-the Stamparatus Rocks! Your response was so amazing that Stampin' Up! has decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.
As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!
Please note the following changes:
Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows: one reservation will be allowed.
This is the last chance for you reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.

November is rolling along so fast. How are you doing with your Christmas Card Making and your holiday shopping? November is the month that I alway anxiously anticipate our first tracking snow. With all that in mind, I thought that it would be fun to use the vintage truck stamp from the Country Livin' stamp set for a Christmas Card complete with snow.
To make the snow, I did 2 things. First, I stamped snowflakes from the Christmas Pines stamp set with Marina Mist Ink. And secondly, I applied embossing paste along the bottom of my card. I colored my truck from the Country Livin' stamp set with my Stampin' Blends. Wow, I LOVE THOSE NEW BLENDIES!
This week Mary is our Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge Hostess and she chose Real Red, Cucumber Crush and Marina Mist and for dessert she chose Christmas. Hop on over and play along at Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge.
