Stampin' Up! OnStage 2018 and 3 Sneak Peeks

Stampin' Up! OnStage 2018

Hello Friends,

Many of you know that I went to  Stampin' Up!  OnStage in April and had an absolute blast!  Stampin' Up! really does know how to put on an Event.  Today, I thought that it  would to share with you the Make-n-Takes and the bag from Stampin' Up! OnStage Milwaukee which are all Sneak Peeks from the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

The first card was made with the Rooted in Nature Bundle and the gorgeous Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper.  Tip:  We stamped and cut our leaves, then snipped them in half to make them appear longer.  Did you notice the Leaves Trinkets?

We also got to play with the lovely Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, the Detailed With Love stamp set and ....the amazing new Detailed Trio Punch.  Just wait till you see this punch.  It works as smooth as butter and to separate corner punches and a ribbon hole punch all in one.

Our third make-n-take dazzled us with the Graceful Glass Designer Vellum and the painted Glass Stamp Set.  Which Sneak Peek was you favorite?

There's always much anticipation over what "the bag" will look like at all Stampin' Up! events.  At the OnStage April 2018 Event we received this 2-side clothe bag.  Isn't it pretty?

Birthday Wit One Layer Humorous Birthday Card

We Must Celebrate Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

We can't always be serious.  Today's card edges over to the humorous side.  I combined 3 different stamp sets to make it happen.  The Birthday Wit stamp set and the We Must Celebrate stamp set  play a starting role.  And the Picture Perfect Birthday plays a supporting role.

Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge
The upcoming Stampin' Up! OnStage Event means that I will have a new catalog in my hot little hands this weekend and that has me wondering if we will have a much needed color refresh.  I love color and it's been 5 years since the last refresh.  We know that the 2016-2018 In Colors will be going.  Will other colors be replaced too?

Anyway, Mary from Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge has chosen this beautiful color combination for this week's Color Challenge.  Do you recognize the colors?  They are from left to right-Flirty Flamingo, Island Indigo and Pool Party.  Won't you join us for this week's color challenge at Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge?

We Must Celebrate Stampin' Up!

I colored the little "We Must Celebrate" animals with a combination of Watercolor Pencils, Ink and blender pens.  Along with the stamped confetti, I added Tutti-frutti self-adhesive sequins and Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes.

image from www.stampinup.comOne thing that I know that's going for sure and for certain is the anything that includes the 2016-2018 In Colors.  I highly recommend stocking up now on inks, ink refills and card stock, because once the Retirement list is announced these things could be gone in the blink of an eye.

Have a fabulous day,

Stampin' Up! April OnStage Swaps

  Snow

Hello Friends,

Happy Monday!  My jaw dropped this morning when walked out onto my back porch to find this scene.  It is April 2, right?  Then, I heard the reassuring sound of the song bird singing their good morning and happy spring songs.  Sure enough, the sun popped up and the the snow is half gone and quickly fading to reveal the spring flowers peeking through the snow.  That cinched it, I decided to use the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp set to make my Stampin' Up! OnStage Swaps!

Beautiful Bouquet Stampin' Up!

I'm heading for Milwaukee, Wisconsin for Stampin' Up! OnStage later this week!  I love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!!! I can't wait to get my hands on the New Stampin' Up! Catalog!  It's always fun to share and swap with other Stampin' Up! demonstrator at live events, so I've been busy stamping and cutting card swaps this morning.  One of my favorite spring flowers is Forget-me-nots, probably because they are so easy to grow and they are blue which is a rare color in the flower world.  And the Bouquet Bunch Framelits dies have a die that works perfectly for making Forget-me-nots.  I simply cut a big pile, then sponges them with Marina Mist Ink.  I also stamped some pretty Daffodil Delight flowers to add to my bouquets.
