Color Your World Bulletin Board

Animal Outing Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I'm really crushin' on all the beautiful Stampin' Up! colors since the Color Revamp.  So today, I decided to make a Color Your World Bulletin Board with all 53 Stampin' Up! Colors.  It looks so happy hanging in my Craft Room.

Stampin' Up! Colors Bulletin Board

I punched 2 daisies each for all 53 colors.  Then, I curled all 106 daisies with my bone folder for a double layered flower.  Of course, each flower needed a label to identify its color!

My tile letters were cut with my Large Letters Dies.   Mr. Giraffe and Mr. Rhino are stamps from the Animal Outing stamp set.  I colored them with my Stampin' Blends.  Wow, I love my blends.  In case you missed the announcement, all Stampin' Blends are now available for purchase including all the yummy new colors.  Would you like to see a Blends tutorial?  My  new colors are on their way to my house, so I will be itching to share.

The Tropical Leaves are a combination of Granny Apple Green, Call Me Clover and Shaded Spruce.  They were stamped and cut with the Tropical Chic Stamp set and the Tropical Dies.

Here a full view of my  Color Your World Bulletin Board.  How many colors can you identify?  Can you name all 53 colors?

Robin's Flower Garden

Inspirations for today's project came for Nicole Kunzig and her Beach Catalog Party Displays which can be found here.  She had some gorgeous samples on display.  The ribbons of color on my bulletin board also remind me in my flower garden in July.

Early Release Share What You Love Bundles

Share What You Love Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Does Stampin' Up! Early Release Products get you revved up?   Yay, me too!  The 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog starts June 1, 2018, but.... there a few sweet deals that you can pick up in May!  See the Share What You Love Bundles and the In Color Ink Bundle in this Brochure.

Everything from the Early Release Share What You Love Bundles are so gorgeous, it's hard to know where to begin.  So I made a couple of cards, a Thank You Gift and a Share What You Love Sampler.  Beginner Card Makers, you'll find detailed instructions just below on how to make the pretty card in the center.

Just Getting Started Card Making

How to Make this Just Getting Started Card

This simple, simple card can be made by anyone.   I only used the Just Getting Started Bundle plus my Stampin' Trimmer to make this simple elegant card.  Everything you need is included in this bundle including Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes, Inks and stamps.  The flowers and greenery were stamped directly on the card and envelope.  To lightly color in the flower, I used the small wash stamp, inked it up with Grapefruit Grove Ink, then stamp it twice on a scrap paper and finally stamped within my flower.  This stamping technique is called stamping off.  Then, I cut two pieces of Very Vanilla Card Stock for my sentiment.  I used the larger one as a mat and the smaller one to stamp my sentiment with Old Olive ink.  Card Stock sizes are 2" x 2-1/4" and 2-1/8" x 2-3/8".

Share What You Love Handmade Gift

Ever wish for an inexpensive, but pretty gift to say thanks.  I made this simple Thank You Gift with the Clear Mini Boxes and some of my pretties from my Got to Have it All Bundle.

Share What You Love Sampler

A sampler is a great way to display your pretties.  And as an added bonus, you can use it as an accent piece for your home decor.

Early Release

Share What You Love Bundles

May 1 through May 31

  • Bundles are exclusive to the suite early release and will no longer be available after May 31, 2018. Individual items from the Share What You Love suite will be available when the 2018–2019 annual catalog is released on June 1, 2018.

Ride a Bike Framed Art in 20 Minutes

Bike Ride Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I heard a weather man refer to this as the longest winter ever.  It was 70 plus for about 3 day last week and...believe it or not, it's snowing today.  Seriously, I'm a fan of snow, but certainly not in April.  The daffodils are in full bloom and the lilacs are leafing out.  Bring on the spring weather.  So, even though it snowed a tiny bit today, I chose to ignore it and stamped this Spring Framed Art with the Bike Ride Stamp set and Build a Bike Framelits.

Bike Ride Stampin' Up!

This project was pretty straight forward.  I stamped my bike pieces and flowers.  Then, cut all the pieces with the Build a Bike Framelits dies.  The final piece of the puzzle is the "Life is a beautiful thing" sentiment from the Colorful Season Stamp Set.  I did pop up my pieces with stampin' dimensionals to give my project a bit of dimension.  So you could say that I stamped my framed art.  It was an easy peasy project that I was able to complete in 20 minutes or so.

You can currently get both the Bike Ride Stamp Set and the Build a Bike Framelit dies in a bundle and save 10%, but the bundle price will go away when the 2018 Annual Catalog starts.

Color Challenge

This week's Color Challenge comes from Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge.  The colors are Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sky. I claim artistic license and I used a few close substitutes and use Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow and Pool Party.  The dessert this week is to add a butterfly and lucky for me the Build a Bike dies includes an adorable butterfly die.

If the weather's got you down, try stamping a spring masterpiece!
