Ride a Bike Framed Art in 20 Minutes

Bike Ride Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

I heard a weather man refer to this as the longest winter ever.  It was 70 plus for about 3 day last week and...believe it or not, it's snowing today.  Seriously, I'm a fan of snow, but certainly not in April.  The daffodils are in full bloom and the lilacs are leafing out.  Bring on the spring weather.  So, even though it snowed a tiny bit today, I chose to ignore it and stamped this Spring Framed Art with the Bike Ride Stamp set and Build a Bike Framelits.

Bike Ride Stampin' Up!

This project was pretty straight forward.  I stamped my bike pieces and flowers.  Then, cut all the pieces with the Build a Bike Framelits dies.  The final piece of the puzzle is the "Life is a beautiful thing" sentiment from the Colorful Season Stamp Set.  I did pop up my pieces with stampin' dimensionals to give my project a bit of dimension.  So you could say that I stamped my framed art.  It was an easy peasy project that I was able to complete in 20 minutes or so.

You can currently get both the Bike Ride Stamp Set and the Build a Bike Framelit dies in a bundle and save 10%, but the bundle price will go away when the 2018 Annual Catalog starts.

Color Challenge

This week's Color Challenge comes from Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge.  The colors are Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sky. I claim artistic license and I used a few close substitutes and use Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow and Pool Party.  The dessert this week is to add a butterfly and lucky for me the Build a Bike dies includes an adorable butterfly die.

If the weather's got you down, try stamping a spring masterpiece!

12 Weeks of Christmas-Home Decor & Handmade Gifts

Hug in a Mug Stampin' Up!Hello Friends,

Stamping and Paper Crafts is so much more than making handmade cards.  It's also Memory Keeping, Inexpensive Home Decor and Handmade Gifts.  Today's 12 Weeks of Christmas projects are a little Christmas decorating piece and a handmade gift made with the Hug in a Mug stamp set.

Hug in a Mug Stampin' Up!

Instead of scrambling for last minute gifts for neighbors, friends and co-workers, make these cute Hug in a mug cups.   Simply stamp a little tag and tuck hot cocoa, peppermints and a few chocolate kisses in a cute mug and a cello bag.

Hug in a Mug Stampin' Up!

The hand stamped home decor piece is super duper easy to make too.    I started with some stamped images from the Hug in a Mug stamp set and accessorized with a few cute ribbons, Gold Binder Clips and snowflakes cut with the Seasonal Layers Dies.

Count My Blessings Tablescape or Card

Count My Blessings Table Decor

Hello Friends,

What's your plans for Thanksgiving?  We'll have a house full this year, so I thought that I would make these pretty Count My Blessings Table Decorations.  They were made with a conglomeration of products including the Count My Blessings stamp set, the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set along with the coordinating Cookie-Cutter Builder Punch and the Pretty Pines Thinlits dies.

Count My Blessings Table Decor

I added a spark of gold with a foil doily and Gold Emboss Powder.  And since I will have a number of hunters at this year's Thanksgiving Table and the week following Thanksgiving is deer season, I thought that it would be fun to add the reindeer from the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set.  I colored my handsome deer with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

The other fun thing about Tablescape piece is that it could easily be used at either Thanksgiving or Christmas.  And if you are not decorating a holiday table this year, today's project could just as easily be a card.
