Christmas in July Eclipse Card

Ready for Christmas Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Today's the last day of July and I haven't done a "Christmas in July" Card yet.  I couldn't let that happen, so here's my Christmas in July card.  It's also an Eclipse Card made with the Ready for Christmas stamp set and my Large Letters Framelits Dies.

Last Day- July 31, 2018 also marks the end of the 10 Free Ink Pads Deal and the Buy 3 Get One Free Designer Paper Deal.  If you wanted to take advantage of either of these offers, today is your last shot.

Quick and Easy Easter Treats Gift

Blooming Basket Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Easter is just a few short weeks away, so I thought that I would share with you a quick and easy way to make an Easter Treats Gift.  Of course, the gift doesn't have to be treats.  It could be handmade cards or anything else that you could imagine.  But for me it was Doves Chocolates.  Yummy!

Blooming Basket Stampin' Up!

To make the Belly Band, I used my FREE Basket Weave Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder and Crumb Cake Card Stock.  Simply emboss, then wrap around your Acetate Box.  Then, I stamped my Blooming Basket, also FREE, and colored with Stampin' Blends.  The Blooming Basket Bundle is a Level 2 Sale-a-bration reward.  But time is running out, this deal of deals runs out March 31, 2018.

Acetate Card Boxes

Acetate Boxes make it easy to give handmade cards as gifts.  These clear boxes will hold 5 standard A-2 Cards and Envelopes, so imagine what else they might hold.  You can order Acetate boxes here or you can receive them FREE from me when you place an Online Order of $75 or more with this month's hostess code MASZAQU9.   See details here

Daffodils, Springtime and Cards

You're Inspiring Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends!  Hello Spring!

It's official, the first of spring is Tuesday, March 20.  What do you think of when you think of spring?  For me daffodils kissed by the sun are a sure sign that spring has arrived, so when I saw the You're Inspired stamp set with its pretty daffodils I simply couldn't resist.

Daffodil Card Tips & Tricks

I watercolored my daffodils with Wild Wasabi and So Saffron inks and my blender pen.  I colored a few extra daffodils to make a fuller bouquet.  Then, I fussy cut them.

For the look of sunshine, I painted my daffodils with my Wink of Stella Pen and added a few Tutti-Frutti sequins.

My background was done with embossing paste and Pattern Party Decorative masks.  Then, I cut a Whisper White square with my Stitched Shapes dies for a white on white background.

What your favorite sign of spring?  Is it daffodils bobbing their heads in the warm spring sunshine?

You're Inspiring Stampin' Up!

It's easy to change up the sentiment with the Classic Label punch.  Simply stamp and punch.   The You're Inspiring stamp set offers 5 versatile sentiments.

This week's Splitcoast Stampers Challenge colors are So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist.  The dessert option is Spring or Easter.  Hope on over to Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge to join the fun.

snowdrops

Here in Ohio, the daffodils haven't started blooming quite yet, but they are peeking through the ground.  The snowdrops on the other hand are gaily bobbing their heads up through the snow.
