Count My Blessings Tablescape or Card

Count My Blessings Table Decor

Hello Friends,

What's your plans for Thanksgiving?  We'll have a house full this year, so I thought that I would make these pretty Count My Blessings Table Decorations.  They were made with a conglomeration of products including the Count My Blessings stamp set, the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set along with the coordinating Cookie-Cutter Builder Punch and the Pretty Pines Thinlits dies.

I added a spark of gold with a foil doily and Gold Emboss Powder.  And since I will have a number of hunters at this year's Thanksgiving Table and the week following Thanksgiving is deer season, I thought that it would be fun to add the reindeer from the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set.  I colored my handsome deer with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

The other fun thing about Tablescape piece is that it could easily be used at either Thanksgiving or Christmas.  And if you are not decorating a holiday table this year, today's project could just as easily be a card.

Fill Your Christmas Stockings with Reindeer Noses

Reindeer Noses Handmade Stocking Stuffers

Hello Friends,

Today's project is a simple gift that you make.  These Reindeer Noses were made with one of last year's favorite stamp sets and one of this year's hottest stamp sets.  Do you recognize them?  The carryover stamp set from last year is Cookie Cutter Christmas along with its coordinating punch, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  And this year's hot stamp set is the Merry Little Labels stamp set.

Reindeer Noses Handmade Stocking Stuffers

'Twas the Night Before Christmas is a well known poem that many of us know well.  Remember this line, "When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer.  With that in mind, 8 brown reindeer noses seemed just right.  And, of course, the red nose represents Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

What do you think, Reindeer noses for all your Christmas Stockings?

Country Livin' Christmas Card

Country Livin' Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

November is rolling along so fast.  How are you doing with your Christmas Card Making and your holiday shopping?  November is the month that I alway anxiously anticipate our first tracking snow.  With all that in mind, I thought that it would be fun to use the vintage truck stamp from the Country Livin' stamp set for a Christmas Card complete with snow.

Country Livin' Stampin' Up!
To make the snow, I did 2 things.  First, I stamped snowflakes from the Christmas Pines stamp set with Marina Mist Ink.  And secondly, I applied embossing paste along the bottom of my card.  I colored my truck from the Country Livin' stamp set with my Stampin' Blends.  Wow, I LOVE THOSE NEW BLENDIES!
