Fill Your Christmas Stockings with Reindeer Noses

Reindeer Noses Handmade Stocking Stuffers

Hello Friends,

Today's project is a simple gift that you make.  These Reindeer Noses were made with one of last year's favorite stamp sets and one of this year's hottest stamp sets.  Do you recognize them?  The carryover stamp set from last year is Cookie Cutter Christmas along with its coordinating punch, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  And this year's hot stamp set is the Merry Little Labels stamp set.

Reindeer Noses Handmade Stocking Stuffers

'Twas the Night Before Christmas is a well known poem that many of us know well.  Remember this line, "When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer.  With that in mind, 8 brown reindeer noses seemed just right.  And, of course, the red nose represents Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

What do you think, Reindeer noses for all your Christmas Stockings?

Ready for Christmas Cookies in a Jar-12 Weeks of Christmas

Ready for Christmas Cookies in a Jar

Hello Friends,

Looking for Gift Ideas that you can make?  Try these Ready for Christmas Cookies in a Jar.  That plate of cookies stamp from the Ready for Christmas stamp set was just begging to be used for my Cookies in a Jar this year.  And the little dog eagerly looking on is just too cute.  I once had a dog that helped himself to a whole tray of cookies.  I was not pleased.

By the way, these Ready For Christmas Cookies in a Jar are my Week 6 Project for 12 Weeks of Christmas.  Click the 12 Weeks of Christmas Category on the right hand side of this blog to see all of my 12 Weeks of Christmas projects.

Ready for Christmas Stampin' Up!

The tags were my favorite part of this project.  They gave me another excuse to play with my new Stampin' Blends.  It was very therapeutic coloring all these sweet little tags.  I not only colored all the stamped images with my Blends, but I also colored the background.  Let me just say, the Stampin' Blends background looks way, way better than a sponged background.  Love my blendies!

Ready for Christmas Cookies in a Jar

Cookies in a Jar Recipe

1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Oatmeal
3/4 cup m&ms
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup white sugar

Empty the contents of the jar into a mixing bowl and add 1 slightly beaten egg, 1/2 Cup soft butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla.  Mix well.  Roll into 1-1/2" balls and bake 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.  Makes just over 2 Dozen Cookies.  Yummy!  Hint: Pack each layer  in the jar before adding the next layer.

Have a fabulous day,

Hug in a Mug & Smitten Mittens

Hug in a Mug Stampin' Up!

 Hello Friends,

Can you believe that summer is gone and we are heading into the cool weather and holiday season?  Both the Smitten Mittens and the Hug in a Mug stamp sets star on today's "Sending Warm Thought" Card and "Hot Chocolate is like a Hug in a Mug" DIY Gift.

Hug in a Mug Stampin' Up!

The Cocoa mug was stamped with the Hug in a Mug Stamp Set and the mittens were stamped with the Smitten Mittens stamp set and cut with the Many Mittens Framelits Dies.  For the background, I partially embossed Bermuda Bay Card Stock.  Then, I repeatedly stamped "sending warm thoughts" done the right side.  For a mixture of fun and sophistication, I included a Metallic Snowflake and Night of Navy Ribbon and a snippet of Delicate White Doilies.  Get the Metallic Snowflakes Free from me with a qualifying Online Order during the month of October.  Find out more here.

  Splitcoast Color Challenge
This week it's my turn to be Hostess for the Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge.  I chose Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay.  And for dessert use a die.  Hop on over and play along at Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge.

Hug in a Mug Stampin' Up!

Tuck some Hot Cocoa, peppermints and marshmallows in the cup for a thoughtful, but inexpensive gift to make for co-workers, neighbors and friends.
