April OnStage Display Stamper Rooted in Nature

Rooted in Nature Stampin' Up!

Hello Welcome to Day 2 of my April OnStage Display Stamper reveal.  Today's projects focus on the Rooted in Nature Stamp set from the upcoming 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  I especially like the the little log stamp from this stamp set.  I stamped it with Crumb Cake ink, then added a bit of Soft Suede Ink around the edges to look like bark.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Copper Emboss Powder to match the fun Copper Trim.

The cute Bag was made with the Mini Treat Bag dies and Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper.  I'm so sad to see that the Mini Treat Bag Dies are Retiring and are only available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.  They are so stinkin' cute and so easy to make.

Rooted in Nature Stampin' Up!

Once again I used the log stamp from the Rooted in Nature stamp set as a focal point.  Then I stamped a variety of leaves with Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron and Tranquil Tide Inks.  I made the cute little from with the Layering Squares dies.

For this card I overlaid the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper with vellum and stitched around the edge.

To Make this rich background  I stamped with Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss ink on Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, then added a strip of Wood Textures Designer paper.  The circles with the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Maple Syrup Scrapbook Layout

Maple Syruping has become a bit of a tradition at our house.  Every winter we set aside a couple of weekends to make this yummy goodness and share some family fun.  Uncle Bryan is a huge hit with his nephews.  He always has the coolest toys.

The Rooted in Nature stamp set was a winner for my Maple Syrup Scrapbook Page.  My title was cut with the Large Letters Framelits Dies.  Additional journaling was stamped with the Labeler Alphabet Stamp set.

Beautiful Peacock Cards & Gift Bag

Beautiful Peacock Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Happy Friday!  Today, I thought that it might be fun to let my Beautiful Peacock  stamp set see ink.  The end result was 2 cards & a Gift.  You can get the Beautiful Peacock Stamp set FREE as a Sale-a-Bration Gift through March 31, 2018.    Let's have a closer look.

Beautiful Peacock Stampin' Up!

There's something magical about letting your creativity flow with this set.  There's just so many beautiful possibilities.  For this card, I stamped the basic Peacock on a stitched oval and layered it on lots of  flowing, beautiful plumage.  Adding the little flowers at the end was especially satisfying.  The Beautiful Peacock stamp set is a photopolymer stamp set so it's easy to line up the stamped images exactly where you want them.  I used 5 ink colors for a spectacular display.  They are Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, Tranquil Tide, Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette.

Beautiful Peacock Stampin' Up!

The peacock gift bag was especially easy to make with the Gift Bag Punch Board.    The Fresh Floral Designer Paper makes stunning bags.  See the Stampin' Up! video below for Tips and Tricks for using the Gift Bag Punch Board.

Instead of buying bags for small treats and gifts, create them in a variety of sizes using the card stock or Designer Series Paper of your choice. The Gift Bag Punch Board makes it super simple to create gift bags in varying sizes. All you have to do is punch, score, and adhere.

Retiring Soon

Not me, but the fabulous 2016-2018 In Colors.  Which is your favorite?  Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach or Sweet Sugar Plum?  That means that any thing involving the 2016-2-18 In Colors including ink, ink refills, Card Stock, Ribbon, Designer Paper, Kits and anything else with these colors will land on the Retirement List soon.  And if it is anything like past years, they will be flying off the shelves.  In past years, the ink refills were gone in a blink of eye.  Get ahead of the crowd and get them before they are gone for good.

Stampin' Blends Announcement

Extremely long lead times with Stampin' Up!'s supplier, combined with an unexpected increase in demand has forces Stampin' Up!'s hand in making the difficult decision to make our entire Stampin’ Blends product line unorderable until approximately the end of May. This is not a decision made lightly.

Stampin’ Blends will be made unorderable beginning today, March 23, noon (MT).

Quick and Easy Easter Treats Gift

Blooming Basket Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Easter is just a few short weeks away, so I thought that I would share with you a quick and easy way to make an Easter Treats Gift.  Of course, the gift doesn't have to be treats.  It could be handmade cards or anything else that you could imagine.  But for me it was Doves Chocolates.  Yummy!

Blooming Basket Stampin' Up!

To make the Belly Band, I used my FREE Basket Weave Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder and Crumb Cake Card Stock.  Simply emboss, then wrap around your Acetate Box.  Then, I stamped my Blooming Basket, also FREE, and colored with Stampin' Blends.  The Blooming Basket Bundle is a Level 2 Sale-a-bration reward.  But time is running out, this deal of deals runs out March 31, 2018.

Acetate Card Boxes

Acetate Boxes make it easy to give handmade cards as gifts.  These clear boxes will hold 5 standard A-2 Cards and Envelopes, so imagine what else they might hold.  You can order Acetate boxes here or you can receive them FREE from me when you place an Online Order of $75 or more with this month's hostess code MASZAQU9.   See details here
