I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to make a beautiful card with the Waterfront Stamp set. It makes me wonder what would be possible if I actually spent some quality time with this stamp set. I've been under the weather for the last several days, so it's a quick straight stamping card for today.
Every bit of this card is simple stamping. The clouds were made by adding Balmy Blue Ink to the outer edges of a stamp with a sponge dauber. The sun was stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink and the mountains were stamped with Smoky Slate Ink. The ground was stamped with Gray Granite and Mango Melody inks. I quickly found that they looked better if I stamped off first, for a lighter shade of ink. The trees were stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink. The trees in the background are a stamp from the Waterfront Stamp set, but the trees in the foreground are a stamp from the Lovely As a Tree Stamp Set. The sentiment is a stamp from the Sunny Days stamp set. I really love both the font and the sentiments in the Sunny Days stamp set.
Have a fabulous day,
