7 Painted Harvest Cards

Painted Harvest Stampin' Up!

Hello Friends,

Happy Friday!  We've all seen lots and lots of beautiful cards made with the 2-step sunflower from the Painted Harvest stamp set.  They're all over the internet.  But did you know that the leaves and itty bitty acorn can make equally beautiful cards?  Plus, the leaflet has a coordinating punch.  The acorns and the leaflets are a real stand out against the the crisp Whisper White Embossed background mounted on a Crumb Cake Card Base.  The other little bit of loveliness behind the acorns and leaflets are a snippet of Copper Trim loosen into a ribbon of fun, a wee bit of burlap ribbon for a little more texture and a swirl of Linen Thread to finish it up.

Be sure to scroll down and see all 7 Painted Harvest Cards.  There's lots of eye candy for you to see made with the Painted Harvest stamp set by Stampin' Up!.  And at the tail end of this post I've listed all the supplies needed for making this top card.

Painted Harvest Stampin' Up!

I stamped my sentiment with Soft Suede ink which looks almost golden against my collage.  I stamped my leaflets with Always Artichoke and Soft Suede inks.  I had to dust off my neglected Always Artichoke ink.  It's been a long time since arty has gotten any action.  Did I mention that the embossed background was done with the Dynamic Textured Impressions Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Hint:  When embossing with the thick Dynamic Folders remember to use only one cutting pad.

Both the acorns and the sunflower star in this card.  See details here.

The sunflowers look great with buffalo plaid too.  See more here.

Painted Harvest went pink one month for my customer Thank You cards.  The bottom layer was stamped with Blushing Bride Ink and the top layer was stamped with Berry Burst ink (stamped off for a lighter shade of Berry Burst).  And the center was stamped with Fresh Fig Ink.  So pretty!

And last, but certainly not least, here's a very basic Painted Harvest Card that we stamped last week at a live event.  The flowers were stamped with Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Chocolate Chip Inks.  And the leaves were stamped with Sahara Sand ink.

Have a fabulous day,
