Try This Card Technique

Bravo

Today's Hip-hip hooray! card starts with  a simple watercolor technique to make a happy Polka-Dot backdrop.  First, I embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and my Texture Boutique Machine.  (Side Note-Stampin' Up!  has shipped replacement pads to everyone who ordered the Texture Boutique earlier this year.  Wow, they work great!)  Back to our background, I then painted my dots with my Aqua Painter and some Tangelo Twist Ink.  Hint:  Try placing a drop of ink from your reinker on  a Clear Block.  Your ink pads will remain in pristine shape and if you have clear stamps you should have a clear block within easy reach.

Bravo

My focal point is a large star cut with the star framelits and stamped with a Bravo stamp.  The new Eclectic Paper-Piercing pack provided a handy template for piercing around my star.  Gold Sequin Trim and a Hello Honey Double Bow completes my card. Love the soft In Color Stitched Satin Ribbon. It ties so nicely.  Stop back tomorrow to find out about ribbon shares.

Tomorrow is the Last Day to Join Stampin' Up! & The Ink-Spirations for just $50.  If you love paper crafts, Stampin' Up! & discounts, tomorrow is your last chance to give being a Stampin' Demonstrator a try for a mere $50.

Have a fabulous day,

Newfeichtsiggy
